This is from an article about the Instrucables page (http://www.neatorama.com/2008/12/15/how-to-make-a-literary-clock/) which explains how to make a wallclock out of one of your favourite childhood books. I wouldn't post it just for the treeclock reference but for that the article itself is pretty neat too

that is so incredibly awesome it might actually be worth destroying the book over!

I'd feel kind of bad for pulling out pages and drilling holes in the books of my childhood

i guess the birth of a clock is not without sacrifice

Depending on the rarity of the book you could just buy a cheapo copy to turn into a clock

I'd have to do it to a new one. My edition of Green Eggs and Ham is first edition, and the first book I ever read.

I was expecting TreeClock himself being spotlighted in a literature review or something.

He is currently off the coast of Maine enjoying some rest and relaxation before he sets off to Istanbul in search of riches.

Or you know he kind of abandoned us and doesn't like us no more...

I have kind of seen him on Destructoid blogging every now and then about new games he gets and sweet deals he finds. I think he is just busy with college.

He is still an active internet-er, he just has kind of severed ties with the CC on the count of hating us and resenting us and all.

I'd like to do it with either of these, but there is no nice empty space in the cover to insert the hands and make it look ok.

It seems the clockcrew is in dire need of a new admin to replace good old Treeclock.

I volunteer.
