Haven't watched the video yet but I'm buying it already.
what the fuck was that?
looks fuckin brilliant
What's with the PS3 getting all the fun gadget games? I'm jealous :(
I don't know what I just saw but it looks amazing.
This is what the Aboriginals where talking about when they mentioned the rainbow snake in the dream time.
It looks so kiddy but it seems like you control some flying carnivorous worm and you have to consume the entire human race in order to collect things around your body or something.
THIS IS DELICIOUS AND ALL THAT IS GOOD IN THE WORLD
Going from the game's Wiki it reads you get points by extending as much a possible and consumed objects can be expelled at the other end.
uh wow
This looks.. interesting.
And fun.
UPDATE
In the latest Playstation magazine, they explained the point of the game, somewhat.
Apparently, the player's goal is to eat things and grow bigger and stretch and try to reach as high as they can, like, to the moon or something.
Then, their score goes online with everyone else's score. Apparently, all the scores as a whole accumulate and, the higher the scores of all the players added together, the more stuff for the game is unlocked.
Cool

That is so fucking awesome.
It's also such an innovative and original idea, assuming that more and more content will be added regularly otherwise it will become stale.

I plan to buy it when it comes out. From what I saw in the video, looks cool, but hopefully the areas you're in will be bigger. It'd be neat to make it to the moon and suddenly mess up somehow and fall to Earth, only to land on a completely different side of it and be in a new area.
Sure, that's unreasonable to expect, but it'd be awesome.
Either way, I like this concept of working together with people.
It looks like a 3D version of Worm

that's a pretty great idea, but it's kinda boning everyone who gets the game and doesn't have an internet connection =/
looks as great and as crazy/disturbing as katamari
also if this and katamari aren't drug induced then i don't know what is

Woah, it's out? Holy shit!
lol, really fucked up but interesting enough and cheap enough for me to feel like it was worth a purchase
I just bought this game. It's downloading at the moment.
BRB gettin a PS3
So, I played the game, and it left me asking, "What did I just play?"
I had some fun with it though, so it might be an acquired taste.
So, I'm going to acquire the hell out of it until I fall asleep, which is very likely since it acts like a Quaalude for me.

Sounds crazy, I can't wait to get my ps3 back.
WEVE LANDED ON THE MOON!
in other words, the moon has now been unlocked.
I just now managed to tie myself into a knot.
Literally.
That's pretty cool.
The only two problems I have with the game are:
1.) The absolutely terrible camera control. I mean, my God. If you want to know what's going on, you have to first hold in L1, hold left on the D-pad until the camera reaches your head. Don't let go of L1, though. Then hold in R1 and keep your controller perfectly steady or else the damn camera will go spinning. Now just hold that for the rest of the game.
2.) The small areas you play it. I love how much stuff you see each time the map randomly generates, and you think "Wow, I didn't know that was in the game". It's really cool. However, they give you a tiny block to play on, where you eventually run out of space. I'd love to see the randomly generated areas be huge and wide expanses so I'd have plenty of space to stretch.
This is more of a complaint, but the fucking trees I'm wrapping myself around keep bending to the ground and undoing my wrapping around them! Fuck, stay up you tree!

Watching this right now and it's hilarious and exactly what happened with me so far.
I'll finish it after school.
They fail to realize you really need to read the manual to figure shit out.
Downloaded this game
Yeah, it's cool, but it has the single worst camera controls of any game I've ever played ever including the Sonic ones. Serioiusly, I got to a point where the camera was at a weird upwards angle and I couldn't correct so I just re-started the game

Yeah, I have no idea how the makers played the game and were like "Yeah, this camera control system isn't the worst fucking thing I've ever played ever."
I even thought of a simple solution to fix this. Instead of having it so that the player has to hold in L1 and then the left D-pad to move the camera to BOY's head, the player simply needs to hold left on the D-pad until it reaches the head, then it fucking stays there without having to hold any buttons. That way I'm not forced to hold L1 and keep my controller still if I want to do anything in the game.
I wonder when we will reach Mars.
Is that the direction we're heading?
Yups, Mars is next.
That video was great. I can't wait to get my ps3 back.
A new update was released recently (from what I've read, today) that adds a bunch of shit. I've checked it out, and the improvements are pretty good. It's a lot easier to grow much longer, now, and you rarely, if ever, break now. I managed to reach the length of 1,600 at one point.
Also, they've started a countdown (in length) for when everyone reaches Mars. It looks like we have another trillion to go.
Getting this for sure, only if they would release vib ribon, Id bust a nut
