but seriously has anyone read this? i'm reading it for school. it's kind of hard, but after the first chapter i basically completely adjusted to the tone so it was ALL GOOD

Did you get to the end yet? I love when Odysseus, his son, and his father go out and fucking kill all those dudes.

It was really entertaining. If you liked The Odyssey, I suggest you read Beowulf. It is another epic poem about and ancient warrior kicking ass.

Ulysses is the Latin name for Odysseus. People use the Greek name because "The Ulyssey" sounds stupid.

I should read it someday instead of just seeing the movie. :p

I have it easier because it's pretty similar to Old Norse. Still a lot of unfamiliar words. Middle English is easiest.
