Title: Audio won't sync with my animation.
Post by: Plug Clock on February 10, 2009, 07:09:10 PM
So I have a clock talking in my next movie. The audio is around 39 seconds long, and the frame rate is 24 fps. I want the arrow that appears above a clock when it  talks to vanish when the audio ends, but the frame rate slows down while the audio plays so there's a few seconds of silence and the arrow is still there. How can I fix this?

From the properties panel, set the sync to 'Stream'.

Also, go to Publish Settings, MP3 Stream Quality should be set to BEST at at least 24kbps. Makes audio much smoother.

Also, make sure there is constantly sound on the timeline. The best way of doing this is to create a blank audio file and just put it in any gaps. Flash has trouble synching the animation properly when it doesn't have audio to look at.
