BB10 volunteers to try out the new MTS-R. It needs some more tweaking.

I know about the scribbly lines. fuck the scribbly lines. focus on what the scribbly lines make. I'll worry about my penmanship.

Thank you.

Tidbit of trivia. That big-ass sword that the robot is wielding is a concept weapon of multiplication- it starts with a small sword, then that small sword splits down the middle and folds to become the hilt of the bigger sword. Repeat until you have a sword able to slice space colonies.

Linework has much improved! Try some shading now. I don't mean colouring in whole sections of armour different shades of grey, but how about actually giving it some tone? I think it'd make your drawings look excellent.

Also, maybe try using a clicky pencil. Where the lead doesn't get blunt, you just click out more. It'd help your lines look more precise. Seriously do it.

I just need to learn how to do that.

I did use a clicky pencil.

I have been using a clicky pencil for all of these drawings (save one or two) for the last four years.

This time i was using a different clicky pencil. This one is better.

If that's the case the lines seem thicker than i'd expect.

it's 0.7mm lead. You're probably used to 0.5mm.

I find it hard to imagine this was done with a clicky pencil. :(

UNLESS they're actually drawn small and then scanned really large so it's zoomed in. Am I correct?
