In the groups, or at least our group, the bar that shows the members is overlapping the posts, cutting off the sides of them. I'm not sure if that's just me, but if it isn't, could someone fix that?
I'm using nuskoo, if that makes a difference.
It looks like the table size in the groups is reduced for fixed-width layouts, so certain images break the tables when they wouldn't on the main forums.
I'll look into it, but I'm a gibbering retard, so if anything I'll probably break more things than I fix.
In the mean time you could just collapse the sidebar by clicking the thingy (https://clockcrew.net/talk/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.clockcrew.cc%2Ftalk%2Fimages%2Fbuttons%2Fcollapse_tcat.gif&hash=0d681b36c4d9c0140d520f240c62eaf1bcfaedf3)

Can't you make a backup first, then fuck around with it.
That way if things get broken it's easier to fix.

Well, yeah, that's just common sense.

I've been having the same problem (also usin nuskoo).

That's what I've been doing so far. I don't use the groups terribly much, so it isn't a huge problem for me, but it'll still be nice to have fixed.
Can you explain how to make a member a moderator? I'm looking at the group management thing and I'm assuming checking the "moderate members" box allows me to give a member mod status but I don't know how to actually pick a person. Do they have to apply for it? And if they do, how?
Also the reply box seems to "reset" after ten, for example if the thread was at 13 replies it would say 3 replies.
moderate members means in the same sense that you'd moderate posts, not actually making them a moderator. I think you can only have one leader at a time- I'm not running any groups myself, but I have an administrative option to switch out the leaders.
and I have no idea about the dynamics of the system, and this includes the table-breaking and the reply box. I seem to be pretty well locked out, unless I want to start fiddling around in the strings and vb stuff, or maybe even some of the ftp, which is where things go well outside of my comfort zone- I don't know any of the syntax, and since I don't own a copy of vbulletin I'm locked out of all of the helpful shit that could help me learn.
it looks to me like the entire groups thing was some kind of vb mod/hack/whatever that leek installed as a tentative thing back in 2007, and the mod itself isn't very intuitive as far as the admin control panel is concerned.
all I can recommend is ignoring the reply problem and using a non-fixed width layout if you're going into the groups.
sorry, guys. I wish I could do more, but I seriously kind of suck at this.
I might ask around in the grid but I don't know if anybody'll know more than I do about it.

Yeah, the control panel is very very basic. I don't think I can edit or delete single posts without banning a user, which deletes
all their posts. The way you access mod stuff is kind of wonky too.

Piney? IIRC he was chatting with Tri about vb code and stuff in IRC a while ago, whether or not he can fix this and furthermore whether he wants to take the time to or not, I don't know.
I'm 90% sure Piney would be able to fix it, I just haven't seen him in a while
