Cool, while ago i wanted to replay the first but i couldn't find the cd, so i downloaded it (which isn't technically pirating considering i paid for the game so there) only to discover it was without the brilliant comic style cut scenes so there was no fun in playing it anymore. Fuck you internet the game is like 80mb just add the fucking cutscenes you bitch.

This is awesome news, I love Max Payne.
I've always wondered how they'd keep Max killing people in a third one. At the end of the second, it seems like he's finally found some kind of happiness in both of the endings. So, unless they have Mona get hit by a car driven by a thug hopped up on Valkyre as a zombie Vladamir eggs him on to do it, I dunno how they'd continue the series without it seeming like a cheap "Your life sucks Max" plot device. Even the zombie Vladamir seems cheap.

Ha, you actually watched the stupid comic strip cutscenes? They may as well have just had a static loading screen with Max Payne sucking his own dick, would have had the same effect.
I loved the first one, for some reason never got in to the second enough to finish it. I didn't really like the switching to his bitch parts.

I feel in a comfortable position; I enjoyed the first game enough to think it was a really swell game, but not enough to become a die-hard fan or to expect the world of any new Payne games.
If it's a good game, then great! If not, then I'm not too phased by it! Hope this studio knows they have big shoes to fill though!
I will get this game because max payne is awesome and I haven't seen the movie yet so this will be great.
