I have grown weary of all this silly debates between Cadillac and Clam against Roman and Marlin. They are boring. We've heard them all a million times, and some of us are quite tired of the same old thing, over and over.
I have decided to do something about this: make it into a challenge. Does the challenge accomplish anything? No, but I am sure it will be far more entertaining if a few rules are thrown into play that completely alter the field.
The rules:
-One team is automatically right if their post is an odd number, the other if theirs is even, and this is regardless of whatever stupid crap they say (if it concerns the subject matter).
-The subject is determined by the first team leader to post, and this also determines which team is odd and which is even.
-Anyone can join and lend their support to one side or another, but if they post in the wrong number class they are I'm a edgy teen douchebags, regardless of how many valid points they make. This rule applies to team leaders as well, and a team leader may not ostracize those who help him if they break this rule, but must continue the douchebag's line of reasoning if addressed by the other team.
And now the team leaders:
Team Something
-Cadillac
-Clam
Team Other
-Marlin
-Roman
We will begin once one of these four has posted.
Will there be a cutoff after which the thread is gassed/somebody wins? This kind of thing could go on forever.
this is a fantastic idea
I'm sticking 'round to watch this shit unfold
Aw yeah.
Oh shit this is gonna be INTENSE
I got banned from the debate forum for debating :(
oh and trolling
This sounds rather an attempt to provoke us back into action. We've been quite dead in debating as of late.
team common sense vs team indignation who will win
Urchin I'm hoping you're being sarcastic because both of us can have common sense and be indignant. Hell, Tri lives off of indignation.

The subject is now whether or not the debaters have been quite dead in debating as of late.

Dude you gotta play Dual Strike.

I did, I found it lacking compared to 2 and Days of Ruin.
Days of Ruin isn't as good as Dual Strike imo.
What didn't you like about it? I thought it was great.

The way that the gameplay differed from the previous Advance Wars games, namely how CO powers were made weaker; the fact that they tried to make it dark, which just doesn't work when the campaigns have such ridiculous plots as in the Advance Wars series; and that the music sucked balls compared to the amazing music in the previous games.
It's not a bad game, it just isn't nearly as good as the previous Advance Wars games.
Edit: Also the sprites of units on a map look weird and too big.

I found it made the tactics much better. So much strategy could be destroyed by a simple CO power in the old games, case in point of it running rampant was Dual Strike. There was a way you could engineer four consecutive turns with tag team powers.
Also, I liked the music.
i praise your effort but eh
