Hello Clock Crew, I haven't posted here in a pretty long time. But something odd happened to me a few weeks ago and I thought maybe I'll post it on the CC for the hell of it.
Ok so, the backstory is that when GMail first came out, I took a few nice email names for reasons that I no longer remember. This incident happened on an email named petroleum@gmail.com.
I logged in that address after forgetting about it for a very long time and...

All of these emails included a full resume.

What the fuck is an AutoCAD Draughtsman?
I did some intense google research on this company and I found out that this is apparently some kind of scheme.
The company pretends to offer these people an amazingly great sounding job, asks them to relocate to a different country (and asks them to give money to the "company" so that they can get a Visa/greencard/whatever to move). After the fool sends money to the bank account, all contact is lost with the company.
So apparently, my email address is being used in the middle of some giant fraud scheme.
Also, I got one email asking me to sell them something like "500 pounds of potassium hydroxide". What the fuck? Why would anyone attempt to buy a massive stack of chemicals from a non-existent company? I can't find this one or I'd post a screenshot, it was hilarious.
Now, I would reply to these people and tell them it's a scam, but damn, there are just too many of them.
Edit: Also, hi, anyone remember me?
I remember you Truffle, we made a flash about those fucking ducks.
troll the people so it gets obvious and you get a laugh from it. and it should be obvious to any person that this is not real

Nice.
Also, I've gotten a few calls from people claiming to need my credit card information for some bullshit thing or another. I don't like to be mean on the phone, so I just say, "Look, I can't give out my credit information..." and lo and behold they hang up immediately. If you're gonna' try and scam people, at least keep up appearances 'til the phone call is finished.
i have my associates in AutoCad Drafting, but yes, i have been frauded before too. I got sent an 1,900$ check. I kinda figured. but i needed the money, lol. Just had to get a loan from the band to pay it off, so it just ended up helping my credit in the long run. I really figured if the bank cashed it, i coulnt get in trouble, but oh well.
Quote from: Franklin G. Hamilton;1653521AutoCAD is an engineering program for 3d modelling. It's basically like any 3d software except it formats to engineering standards, and is very precise with dimensions and units and shit. It's very much recommended for all engineers to learn how to use AutoCAD, or similar CAD software.
I had to use it to design a 3d model, and have it sculpted out by a 3d printer for one of my classes.
I learned how to use AutoCAD when I took drafting in high school. I was the only one in the class who actually bothered to do most of the work, so naturally I got an A. I think I got 95% or something. I think my school had an extremely outdated version of the program though.

I dont like autocad but I guess it is a useful program
If you consider the Cutco/ Vector knives recruiting techniques/ practices a fraud scheme then yes I guess I have.
Basically you are expected to start off by selling shit to your family at first, it's kind of like school fundraiser sales (selling cookies and stuff like that) except that now they are paying hundreds of dollars. The knives are very nice, don't get me wrong, but they are still teaching you to profit off of your loved ones' compassion and generosity.
I once told a guy to meet me in the park and I'd give him a check for $300. I clubbed him to death and raped him.

In what order?

Obviously I told him to meet me in the park first! Otherwise how could I club him to death and rape him?

I like you, kid. Good job putting that quote in your sig. {{{salmonberryclock}}}
Some dude stole my mom's checks out of the mailbox once, erased the ink, and wrote on them.
We bought a shredder after that and it made my mom paranoid to this day.
I had someone try to phish my WoW account awhile ago. I got back by selling a .Net program to a powerleveling site that stored auto logins, next thing you know I was over 500 WoW accounts richer, and I sold them all on mmowned.com. I win.

Someone tried to phish you so to get back you got 500 other people's accounts?

Someone tried to take his wallet so he emptied their bank account. Seems fair.
Hey Truffle

Clearly he meant draftsman. AutoCAD (or Computer Aided Design or Computer Aided Drafting if ur ghey) is a software application for 2D and 3D design and drafting. MY PAW HAS IT ON MY OLD PC. HE HAS NEVER USED IT ONCE!

The people who were trying to phish my account was a website called
susanexpress.com, they deal with accounts (or did) and gold for world of warcraft. After they tried to phish my account from me via a URL, I did a error post to see who owns the main box, /~user/home/susanexpress/subsite/
After finding it was susan express, I told them i had a large account list to sell to them. I repacked a keylogger into an RAR package created a .doc binder for the .exe, and they ran it. I logged there login keys for gold farming. I took there accounts, then sold them on Markee Dragon.
Yes its called Karma.
I was once hired to be a candy vendor, basic M&M and skittle bags cost 4 dollars, and nobody would buy. Another vender company was selling the same thing for 3 dollars. Whenever I called them, they always answered in a pissed off tone "WHAT?!", and then when they realize I'm a -cough- "employee" they start being nice to me. It was commission too, 15% of sales. I made $0.60 that day which wasn't even enough for the city bus ride home.
That was my worst job ever. My last words to them were "Yeah, I found a real job." in which they slammed the phone down.
