I'll start. Only rule is don't put a fucking piece of shit scene in here.

There are others like the scene from The Machanist but it would spoil the movies.

But if we must choose only one scene... when Jake goes to jail.

Do all these have to be publicly revered scenes or just can we post obscure personal favorites?

Fuck you, you posted the most obvious scenes from the most obvious movies. WOAH CASABLANCA, DIDN'T SEE THAT ONE COMING. Basically you wanted this thread to be a "Look at how many classic movies I have seen!" thread.

There are several scenes in this movie that I think are the best ever.

I always thought it was a great scene. Who would have thought something like movie preferences could be so subjective?
Perhaps this is more to your liking King Dwarf?

The whole movie is like that when it isn't just being regular weird. It has no reason to be obscure; the only other person I know who has even heard of it is Leek.

The intensity of it reminded me of that part near the end of Moby Dick, where Ahab is giving that monologue and the men are rowing out to the White Whale.

I have, I watch alot of animated movies.
Which reminds me
Couldn't find one which included the delirious speech or higher quality audio... I love this song.
It could be considered a spoiler and I would recommend seeing the movie as a whole instead of checking this clip

If you like surrealistic movies or just great animations overall you should really watch that movie, one of my absolute favorites.

I try to find the really good Jurassic Park scenes but the ones I find are all of really bad quality.
Here, just skip to 4:10. Even then there's a weird hole in the footage.

Awesome, someone else has seen Mind Game. Also, I know it's horribly weeaboo but I went back and watched the opening credits for Paprika three times through. 'Twas a good movie, choked me up the second time the morbidly obese man falling down in the parking garage was visited.
I'm trying to find the name of a short film where a man is being forced to eat a wooden desk, I'm not really sure if the movie exists or if I'm just a little nuts though.
I might have to upload a Schizopolis scene or two tomorrow, there's painfully bad scene selections from it on the net.

You can post any scene as long as it's good.

Haha it's only weeaboo if you actually believe in it, enjoying something for what it is and not because it fits the role you play is ok.
I got it on my computer, I watch the parade scene now and again... When me and my friends saw it for the first time noone had any knowledge of it so at first we thought the translator had fucked up untill the music started in the background:
Haven't grinned such a smile many times in my life.

Macintoshes are too technologically inferior for Scotty.
Two of the best scenes from my favorite movie ever. Really, I love all the scenes, but these stand out as my favorite. I would've posted a third scene because I also love it (when the narrator is in the hotel room and he finds out Tyler Durden is a persona made up by the narrator), but I didn't feel like ruining a plot twist everyone already knows to someone who might not know it.
[u2]qIj7EiWGFe8[/u2]
Couldn't find the whole scene, with Lou beating the shit out of Tyler but I couldn't.

Not the best scene to me, I think the pure hate on his face when he is "accepted" by the town is absolutely amazing.
the entire build up and incredible tension throughout the entire movie really becomes intense in this scene right before Jesse's realisation.
[u2]9WC_qCeGZ4w[/u2]
to be honest, before this scene the movie is great, but from this scene onwards (the final 20 minutes/half hour of the movie) it's a masterpiece.
I am so so so sorry for posting this obvious scene, but to me, the strongest part is coffey describing his dream, and "feel the way we feel", although the best part of the movie is when they're talking about what to tell God.
