Title: 23" monitor - now dualing
Post by: SpinningCubeClock on October 02, 2009, 01:41:57 AM
So I just connected up this new 23 inch monitor, and I am now running that one plus a 19". This is fucking amazing. I can watch porn on one while watching porn on the other! I got the monitor, brand new for $226AUD which I think is a wonderful price for such a thing!

How much does a 23" cost over in the US of A or wherever you are from bro?

I have two monitors hooked up but since I play games and you kind of have to un-attach the smaller one through display properties every time you want to load up a full screen game it's a pain in the ass and I only ever really use the second monitor for IRC anyway bro.

And according to Newegg they're about 200 USD.

I had that but it was a monitor with a 1280*1024 resolution next to my 1440*900 laptop screen. It didn't really work because everytime I took the laptop somewhere the icons on the screen were all messed up and the resolution was usually changed too.

I'd definitely go dual monitor if I had a desktop computer with two same-sized monitors on equal height.

lol the fucking resolution on the big monitor is 1920 x 1080.

N.B. I didn't have to minimise this window to check the resolution.

You guys should get together and combine the porn-watching power of your TVs.

I paid £130 for this monitor, 23", auto - set to 1920 x 1080, though i keep my browser boxed at 1280 x 102 for most sites else everything stretches to fuck.

i actually have a 19 inch monitor downstairs, i should hook that up too.

Everyone should do this. It is simply superb. I can't wait to make a flash with this monitor.

If you have a spare monitor somewhere, no matter if it's the right size or anything, I'd suggest trying it. Even with two different monitors it was a surprisingly good experience to me, especially that so little people do it while it's so easy once you install the right software.

I suggest Ultramon to anyone going dual screen.

I had it for a while on my laptop, wasn't too great.
