I use to smoke camel lights, or the camels that came in the tins, zimeir stingers or something. But then I figured out where all the phlegm was coming from and quit smoking.

It caught me totally off guard and i avoided him the rest of the night not knowing what to say but its true for most of them. I would agree these people would be much better off living with family but for many they find the responsibility of raising kids, working careers, and taking care of their rapidly deteriorating parents or grand parents too much, so they take they take grandpa's money and stick him in a home, its pretty depressing, and i wouldnt wish that fate on my worse enemy. Most worked their entire lives and are now unable to, so they find themselves in the home, they need purpose and we try to accomodate, but there is only so much you can do, except be compassionate. The lucky find a hobby, a few play music, a few garden, some drink, but their lives are not as nearly as full as they once were.

Sometimes people ask me to hold their cigarette for a sec and the smell of my hand afterwards is nauseating. Same goes for my clothes after i spend time with someone who smokes or in a smoking environment. That horrible smell alone would have been enough for me to quit. Plus it gives you horrible breath. Im fairly apathetic towards the health concerns but i want to smell nice goddammit!
