If anyone wants to play something let me know. I'm looking to test out the friends system, PS Home, and I just want someone to play with.

I absolutely love this system. Screw the people that say it's worse than the 360. In my opinion it's just as good. The PS3 has more games I want (that I can't get on my pc) than the 360 has. The controllers are nice, the online service is pretty damn good, and the exclusives rock. Plus: now I have a Blu-ray player.

The Clock Crew does actually have a relatively large number of PS3 owners, myself included. Unfortunately, all I own is Fallout 3 and Brutal Legend, I had to sell some games in order to have some spending money for the future, and even that's running out.

I have a friend who owns Res1+2 but didn't bring his PS3, so I would be able to play those.

PSN: Marlin Clock, of course.

I'm surprised there are still people out there who shit on the PS3. Yes, it used to be expensive, get the fuck over it. I personally love it. And I know it doesn't really matter at all, but as a designer I love the user interface and design.

that's pretty cool, but i heard they cant play ps2 games, which i have a closet full of, so i think i might just have to buy the original one.

If you have a working PS2, just hook it up to play ps2 games. The newer PS3's are better than the older ones in every other way. well you sold me :) i just now have to decide either an ps3 or an xbox, because i wanna play some ps3 only games, but i also love the halo franchise and some other xbox only games, and buying both is not an option for my budget. why cant people make the ultimate game console where i can play and do whatever i want.

Only the 2 oldest of the 5 or 6 models are backwards compatible with PS2, and they're no longer sold by Sony.
All PS3's however, are PS1 compatible.

I ordered an HDTV to go with my new PS3. Playing on an old SDTV really sucks. I can't read any kind of small print at all in the store or in games.

It's a 26" 720p LCD TV from Auria. I couldn't fit anything bigger than a 28" in my room where my TV is set up to be, so it's the perfect size. Also since it's only 26" and not like 42", 720p should look fine. Plus with how my room is set up I sit pretty close to it so its not like I need anything bigger. It should be here any day now! :thumbs:


Also, somebody needs to get Endwar with a headset. It's easily the best RTS ever made for the consoles. The PC version is not so good though.
I'm surprised none of you have Warhawk or Battlefield 1943. There are still tons and tons of people playing BF1943 and there are still at least 225 servers up and running in warhawk at any given time. It wouldn't be a waste to buy either and they're both fantastic.

Warhawk is available on the PSN store for like $30, but to get on a lot of the servers you'd need the DLC too which costs $15. It's well worth the purchase.
Battlefield 1943 only costs $15!

No offence, but I think warhawk is one of the worst shooters even made.
When you play on a CTF match people are glitching in the home base on a place you cant get hit with the flag so your waiting for over 30 minutes to get the flag back

I'm pretty sure they've fixed that glitch with one of the recent patches because I haven't seen that happen once since I got it.

Warhawks can only lock on with any of their weapons at like medium/medium-long range. Othwise you'd be dumbfiring and it will just fire straight and you won't hit crap.
So, no, I haven't seen a situation where cross-map camping with a warhawk will do you any good.

I beat Resistance 1. I'm like a third of the way through burnout Paradise. I'm half way through shatter, but no where near done anything else.

I got my new HDTV with an HDMI cable for the PS3. I also got a wireless usb keyboard for it. Killzone 2 will be here today as well.


Marlin, would you be up for some Resistance 2 today?

the ending of the first resistance was prety lame, after you destroyed the orange thingies the game just ends, I cleared it with a friend in co-op
