CLOCK CREW NANOWRIMO 2009
I[/SIZE]t's that time of year again! The writer's equivalent to Christmas, Easter and Arbor Day all at once! National Novel Writing Month!
If you're just joining us, National Novel Writing Month is an (oddly enough) international challenge to write a 50,000-word book in the month of November, from 12:00:01AM November 1 to 11:59:59PM November 30 (so don't start early, please). Everyone's a winner if they meet this deadline! What's the prize, you may ask? A 50,000-word book that didn't exist at the beginning of the month, and the satisfaction of hedonistic accomplishment.
There's no need to worry about if you're a decent writer or not for NaNoWriMo, in fact that's usually quite counterproductive. To participate in NaNoWriMo, you just need a desire to do something impossible, and see that it can be done!
If you're interested, be sure to sign up for the NaNoWriMo forum (http://www.nanowrimo.org) and post in this thread with a link to your NaNoWriMo profile. The NaNoWriMo forum is quite a useful hangout, from its active forum to its interesting internet toys like the word count scoreboard and web badges.
Also, if you register for the Clock Crew NaNoWriMo group, you may be eligible for a participation or, quite possibly, a winner award! I may also be able to arrange a post-NaNo contest to read over your books and see which are the best!

It's only about 1667 words per day. Do that and you'll be golden.
I remember this!
Sure, I'll try again. I actually have what might be a good idea this time.
