Title: The Dragon Age Origins thread.
Post by: NintendrCkolc on November 06, 2009, 01:01:50 AM
Got this today and i'm already in love with it. The game picks up extremely fast and sucks you in pretty easily(I started a Human Rogue so it may have different pacing with different race/class combos)

Anyone else pick this up yet?

Oh, awesome cover art btw

Does it have anything that actually sets it apart form every other game that steals is inspired by D&D?

Graphics on the 360 version aren't that great, but the game is pretty fun, though I'm only like 2 hours in.

I heard it doesn't have anything that makes it stand out in particular.

I really want this but I'm out of money. I just spent the last of what I had at the moment on ordering a game for my PS3.

I'll definitely be getting this soon though for the PC, it looks fantastic.

Just beat a playthrough of this today, didn't really go out of my way to do any sidequests or anything, but a pretty fun game still.

Also lol @ sex scenes in video games.

Can't... stop... playing...

Shame mine crashes and shows graphic bugs from time to time.

The party is astoundingly well done with the talking inbetween characters etc.

So is the function of drugs, doesn't stop people from taking them.

But I am really pissed atm because my Dragon Age keeps crashing at the exact same location and I am starting to wonder if I can even get past it :(

I always go with mage

And I always seem to regret it, I know melee characters are boring in these games but right now I'm getting pretty much raped from every godamn enemy.

They have terrible difficulty curves in this game, my main melee fighters get raped constantly even though I spent all my precious gold on buying Alistair the best of armours aswell as maxing his happyness so he gets max constitution.

My main character mostly fires of 1 fireball before 4 guys start hunting him and I have to "kite" some mobs.

It's still a great game I just feel like a fag having to go from "Hard" to "Easy" constantly and even die on Easy setting...

Ok just go to the mage tower at the start and get the healer character, you need a healer and then everything is fine and great and awesome.

also I'm testing the origins to see which is the coolest and frankly Dwarf Noble seems the best so far, mage has some nice attributes but dull overall and Dalish is extremely bad.
