Yep. I just got it in the mail and my xbox can't read that fucker. I tried installing it to my hard drive but when I do that it goes to about 40% and then it says disk unreadable again.

Same thing's been happening to ALL of our disks too, plus it's been freezing up. So we looked around on various forums and tried everything: applying some silver goop, re-wiring the circuits to supercharge the fans, hell we even bought a new disk drive for the damn thing! And it STILL freezes up!!

Game stores should have a disc cleaning device thingy which you should be able to use for a small fee. Try it. I had the exact same problem as you with bioshock, and when I tried to install it it would freeze at 80% or something. After that cleaning thing (which was free because I sucked the shop keeper's dick) it worked like a charm

Pc's are for nerds, console gaming is where it's at yo.
Also i just beat the single player campaign after 5 and a half hour and euhm i have no idea what just happened, infinity ward isn't top of its class when it comes to story telling. It was awesome though. Also the credits where super cool, plus it's neat to be able to check out all weapons and such ingame.

Yeah story wasnt very great, but i didnt really get this game for the story so im not bothered by this. I got it for the shooting stuff which there is plenty of.

Yeah I have noticed several shooters now are majorly dedicated to be multiplayer, but even then is rare to find some that are actually good.

Hardened for most levels, turned down to regular for that slum level in Brazil but going to beat that level again on hardened later, hopefully that will get me the "The Price of War" achievement. Turns out i would have gotten the same achievements for single levels if i had beaten the game on regular or recruit zzzz. Only veteran has its own achievements.

COD is made for multiplayer, so they focus on that. Personally I'd rather have them do it like this. They can always put up more campaigns for download later.

So i finally played this shit online today and it's great. I like it even more than CoD4. Love all the new shit you can unlock and the perks are way better aswell. Currently using my M4 with holographic visor and the Marathon, Stopping Power and Steady Aim perks. Pretty neat!

Also the scavenger perk rules. Specially in combo with Stopping power pro. I now just use my main weapon (m4 with holographic sight) against aircraft aswell! Don't have to worry about ammo and it leaves my secondary slot open for my PP-2000 with FMJ bullets for close quarters combat. Neat!
