QuoteNow, reporting in the journal ZooKeys, Sereno's team has announced the discovery of fossils from three brand-new species and new fossils from two known species. Along with SuperCroc, they add up to a virtual menagerie of ancient crocodiles that inhabited a range of ecological niches — species nicknamed BoarCroc, RatCroc, PancakeCroc, DuckCroc and DogCroc.

Yes! These guys are fucking bad ass.
DuckCrocs?
Did they eat prehistoric bread?
But yeah, that is cool.

Why does that concept drawing have the legs underneath it? Oldcroc or not, crocs are like all other reptiles.
Crocs are cooler than dinosaurs cause crocs evolved into well crocs and dinosaurs into fucking birds.

It sort of has a triangular shape. Given it's long tail it can keep that kind of balance. These drawings are based on the fossils. The crocodylidae family is unique because they are more biologically complex. This just further proves crocodiles are way more bad ass.
These names are kinda silly. I mean, dogcroc makes me think they'll come up with a dad and momcroc soon
pancakecroc

So the ratcroc was a cute, three feet long vegetarian/insectivore? Sounds like a perfect pet.

That reminds me I want a komodo dragon.
