It's not saying that if you listened. It's saying that you have to take time to develop it, that it doesn't happen overnight.

I've not had a single cource of art since it was obligatory at the age of 16.

Either way, I would not ever travel the path of art these days... even the richest of rich artists are not recognized as true artist but rather pop-culture icons or whatnot.

And the simple fact that I do not see a reason to persue a path of arts...

But for anyone who did not know what he already said I guess that is sound advice, but one must ask oneself; If you did not have that knowledge or perseverance from the start... what were your goals and were they true to yourself?
