Eh, its okay so far. I love it when they tell you to find someone and give no indication on where they might be, that just makes my day!

Don't be fooled by its promises of being free, at around level 10 the game starts making a concerted effort to stop being fun unless you send the game money.

I don't like their attack system. I greatly prefer WoW style.

But I don't like MMOs a whole lot anyway so

This is a bad post and you are stupid. Your opinion is so wrong I can't even begin to explain to you how wrong you are.

This is funny because you both have similar avatars so I'm having trouble determining who is who.

It's a good game and an above average MMO due to the lack of autoaim and the pretty sweet setting, but it gets boring and repetitive pretty fast. Also there's a ton of options so it can be pretty hard to make a perfectly optimized character, but when you do, oh boy look out.

I got to level 15 or so because at that point you have to grind forever to level. So yeah, best MMO i've ever played.

There is still much character-movement in actual PvP.

Maybe it was just because I was a hunter and quit at like level 40, but PvP for me usually involved getting attacked, catching the enemy in an ice trap, running a distance away, and then killing them before they could get to me again. Not that complicated.

It's different at higher level play. Lvl 40 PVP is for twinks and people bored of the grind.

The reasons I liked auto attack were:

1) back when I used to play WoW I liked to just relax and grind. I didn't want to think about every attack I'm making.

2) In my opinion, these types of games are about 2 things: maximization and minimization. Everyone wants to max out their effectiveness, their average damage output, maximize their healing efficency, minimize the damage they take, minimize the gold you have to spend, etc. Having to attack every time manually takes out the ability to maximize your attack. Missing a fraction of a second between attacks every time leads to a decrease in overall damage output.

Then again I stopped playing WoW a year ago (my highest toon was only like 65) and have never looked back, and played D&D online for like 2 hours, deciding to quit after seeing all these fucking warforged (I hate warforged), all these anime fags throwing around "^_____^" and "OMG INUYASHA KEKEKE" in the chat, generally just being sick of RPG's (or as I call them, level-up games[there is no roleplaying involved {parentheses}]), and feeling like the game didn't uphold what I as a nerd consider D&D to be.

TLDR RUNONSCENTENCE

1)Wow now you're saying grinding is good, you really are I'm a edgy teen I'm sorry

2)SO you're saying that having actual skill shouldn't effect how effective your character is, and PvP should instead be a test of how long you wasted making spreadsheets and grinding for gear. An interesting concept. I guess it works for Magic: The Gathering players

afterthought: Are you trying to imply that the WoW community isn't just as bad? I've never seen an MMO community that didn't make me gag (with the possible exception of Eve). I'm not defending DDO here though, it's bad too.
