Up here in space
I'm looking down on you
My lasers trace
Everything you do

You think you've private lives
Think nothing of the kind
There is no true escape
I'm watching all the time

I'm made of metal
My circuits gleam
I am perpetual
I keep the country clean

I'm elected electric spy
I'm protected electric eye

Always in focus
You can't feel my stare
I zoom into you
but You don't know I'm there

I take a pride in probing all your secret moves
My tearless retina takes pictures that can prove

I'm made of metal
My circuits gleam
I am perpetual
I keep the country clean

I'm elected electric spy
I'm protected electric eye

Electric eye, in the sky
Feel my stare, always there
There's nothing you can do about it
Develop and expose
I feed upon your every thought
And so my power grows

I'm made of metal
My circuits gleam
I am perpetual
I keep the country clean

I'm elected electric spy
I'm protected electric eye
I'm elected electric spy
I'm elected protective, detective, Electric Eye!

Rob Halford is the greatest vocalist metal has ever seen.

Do we start a Painkiller thread or just continue the worship here?

but in all seriousness, try to keep on the topic of this Judas Priest song and going and making a separate thread for another song is just stupid.

Electric Eye is indeed the locus, nexus, and apex of the Judas experience. It has no reason to feel threatened, even by the mighty power of the Painkiller.

Quote from: RibsClock;1731479Love it, but gotta go with Lochness. Too much epic.

Mmm... Lochness is also awesome but the Hellion/Electric Eye combo is still my fav!

Also Screaming for Vengeance> Angel of Retribution!  Though Angel of Retribution is my second favorite album.

That was the LASER eye, as Paul Reubens called it. Some fan you are!

ON TOPIC: This song is pretty much the definition of good metal. Why can't music these days sound like this anymore?

Quote from: RibsClock;1731658...it can.

Yeah, but Manowar started out in 1980. What I mean is why are young and aspiring bands either unwilling or incapable of making good metal?
