Just curious. I've been playing for the past like 3 years, but i don't think i practice enough to be good. I can keep up with most songs though.
I just rock out on a cheap Pearl drum set, but since buying it have gotten remo drum heads, and these cymbals.

The hi-hat kinda sounds poopy but overall they aren't bad.
Oh, and i also have a pearl DB pedal.
For some reason i lose interest in playing the drums when i have nobody to play with. I usually just jam out to my itunes playlist.
It's not really like a guitar where you can just jam out and write your own songs.
I play. My advice for being useless at something is this- you aren't. You CAN play with both your hands, even if it's shit to your ears, your still technically doing it. So keep at it, and keep at it, and keep at it. And you can always use multitrack when it comes to recording.
In fact, I wrote a pretty easy song that is fun and used both hands, maybe if you learn that so good you can rock it, that may be a start?
my aim is ampmcl0ck if you are interested at all.
