Or you could just murder them. I'm sure that after the 25 year sentence nobody would try and make you watch it again.

This might be a possibility.

No, my little brother is an idiot and loves seeing horrendous movies and playing horrendous games (not really related). And since he "looks up to me", he cries over anything and everything if I don't want to participate in it. So he's going to want to see this movie, I'm not going to want to go, and he's going to cry about it for days until I'm finally somehow dragged to the damned movie theater with him and my mom. This is how it always happens :(

As a younger brother myself, i know your brother just wants to spend time with you and make you proud of him :(

Mv.A wasn't that bad.

Also, I kinda agree. As a little brother myself, I know how much I'd rather my middle bro treat me like an actual person instead of putting me down all the time. If you really don't wanna see that stuff with him then show him stuff you like.

well i would... if it were appropriate for him. I enjoy going to movies  with my brothers, i just dont enjoy the movie itself. its nice to spend  time with him. I actually end up liking a few of the movies we go and  see together (M vs. A, How to Train Your Dragon)

As a little brother myself who hated the shit out of his brother until he moved out, which is when we finally became close, I have no advice.

However, having a brother reach out and try to make up for all the old bullshit in the past I advise that when he says "Hey wanna go see Yogi Bear?" you tell him "Fuck that, let's watch The Big Lebowski instead".

What, do you just watch porn or something? Most great films aren't unsuitable for kids and even if they are, fuck it it's good for them to see a bit of sex and violence.

Actually the Yogi Bear trailer wasn't utterly despicable, which is surprising.

I mean, not once did it make me go "Oh fucking Jesus Christ" and slap my hand to my forehead like the Smurfs trailer did every two seconds.

Eeeeeeeeeehhh.... yeah once in motion it doesn't look THAT bad, but this still looks a bit annoying. Especially the pie scene.

As a little brother myself, I know how he feels (because it's what I went through as well with my older brother). He needs to go through the same process I did. Also it doesn't really help that he's my half brother and there's an 11 year gap between us. I try to tell him what's good and what's not, but he doesn't listen. ANYWAY, watching the trailer now.

EDIT: They need to do a better job with those blue screen shots. The lighting they have in the studio doesn't match that of the outdoors or rooms they're in. Yeah, I don't like where this is going.

I dont think Clockwork Orange is something i'd let my little brother watch. Nor Full Metal Jacket :P

After watching the trailer, I have to agree this looks less ridiculous than Smurfs (especially since Katy Perry is smurfette). It's pretty cheesy, but it could be a guilty pleasure

I watched Clockwork Orange when I was a kid and it was fine. I didn't really get it but I wasn't scared or emotionally damaged or anything.

Come on though, you must like some good films that are kid appropriate. Die Hard? Terminator? There's loads of fun action movies that are really well made and kids these days probably haven't seen.
