Title: recommend me some headphones
Post by: FLOUNDERMAN_CLOCK on April 21, 2010, 12:09:30 AM
Good ones, I love my grado sr80i headphones but because they're open ear they fuck up too easily and I'm not sending them back to the manufacturer again. I want headphones that wont break down on me, have damn good sound quality, and cost less than 150 dollars. I know some of you are huge on music so please help me with this.

I have Sennheiser HD 25-1 II (http://www.sennheiser.co.uk/uk/home_en.nsf/root/professional_headphones-headsets_headphones_502188) and they are amazing i have had tons of headphones and those are by far the best, much better than expensive Bose ones and Beat's by Dr Dre headphones also. Im going to get myself a pair of Bowers and Wilkins P5 as they are also extremely good.

I have the Panasonic RP-HTX7-P1 headphones, and I am deeply in love with them. I wouldn't call myself an audiophile or anything, but I wouldn't trade these in for another pair unless they broke and were discontinued.

They are $35 on Amazon.

I had a second hand pair of Skullcandy: Skullcrusher headphones for a while and they were rtetty damn good. The bass is phenomenal. However my bair broke fairly quickly, and for £70 they're pretty expencive. Link is below.

£70 isn't that expensive for good headphones but skullcandys are the worst ever. For quality Bose or Seinnheiser are the best imo. I had a £300 pair of bose headphones but i used them that much i broke the cable.
