Too much spending on education, not enough military recruiters in high schools

Republicans stopped it because they don't believe in science. Science is an evil religion

I'm more concerned by the comments than the commercial.

QuoteThis guy ought to be president! I'll be he wouldn't want to share my wealth with the lazy, fat-assed welfare recipients who refuse to pull their own weight. I'll bet hed keep the stinking illegal aliens from coming over & sucking our resources dry and I'll be he wouldn't push New World Order & Healthcare bills he hasn't even read. It's about time we take America back!

Quotefuck democrats , Republicans are the only true Americans

Reminder: the man is running for agricultural commissioner.

I kinda just want to meet the guy who did the editing on that commercial. Aside from it being completely ridiculous, it's a pretty entertaining ad.

What is it with those people and the obsession with illegal aliens? Shit you'd think we're in an H.G. Wells novel.

I'm becoming quite intolerant of Republicans and Tea Partiers. If I could have a sensible argument with one it'd be nice, but so far I've found nothing but appeals to the Bible and people who have no idea what they're talking about quoting Glenn Beck/Rush Limbaugh. Btw Rand Paul is madd racialist and Rachel Maddow made him her bitch last night watch if you care.

You do realize he stated he supports all of the civil rights bill stuff except forcing private businesses to act in a certain way.  Plus anyways, that civil rights bill isn't even something he'd have to vote on.  Hell, he wasn't even alive at the time.

Yeah. So in his ideal version of the bill, government-institutions wouldn't be able to discriminate, but it would be perfectly legal to walk into a barber's shop and have the owner tell you to get out because they don't serve whites, blacks, Hispanics, Asians, Jews, women, gays, etc. That's not a pretty fucking big problem to you?

Also who cares if he gets to vote on it? I don't want a member of congress thinking that it would be better to have huge parts of our social structure segregated based on the racist, sexist or homophobic whims of people in the name of "free speech." Also, Rand Paul was born in '63, the bill was passed in '64.

If they likewise voted against increasing funding for other things (like the bailouts), then I could get behind their decision, as it shouldn't be the government's business to take taxpayer's money and force them to pay for things they might not want to (or can't afford to) spend it on, and that includes funding other people's math or science education/businesses.

However, they vote to increase funding for ridiculously stupid things all over the place, when math and science education is much more worthy to fund than everything else that's been approved lately, so I'm pretty annoyed by this decision.

I looked up this Rand Paul guy:

QuoteIn cases of rape and incest, he opposes abortion.

Oh jeez.

QuoteHe has proposed securing the border by an underground electric fence and helicopter stations

Yes. But I liked the idea of burning money in giant trash cans, thus inhibiting the sight of illegal's.

QuotePaul opposes same-sex marriage, but believes the issue should be left to the states to decide.

Silly fags.

QuotePaul supports the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution and would oppose all gun control legislation.

YOU AIN'T TAKIN MA GUNS, AND YOUS AIN'T TAKIN MA BIBLE.

QuotePaul supports the legalization of medical marijuana.

Well, he won my vote.
