Your favorite games that weren't necessarily hits. They don't even have to be good to the general public. These are just those games that hold a special place in your childhood.

Here are a few of my favorites.

[u2]E2wKbELWCSg[/u2]
This game was the first game I got for the ps1 and I was so content with it. That even though I got new titles I went and still popped this in.

[u2]GuBXOo8_EKg[/u2]
I play this game for the soundtrack alone. This game is probably my all time favorite.

Check this fucking level out, Holy shit!

I love DKC2 SO MUCH that I made an article about it time ago (http://www.destructoid.com/blogs/Monodi/donkey-kong-country-2-diddy-s-kong-quest-and-why-it-s-awesome--170594.phtml)

This is one of the few arcade fighters I remember being actually good at back then.

Why do so many people hate Pokemon Snap?

Let's not flood this thread with too many youtube videos. If you have a video, just post the url.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extreme-G (//Extreme-G) was only second to Mario Kart in my family during the days of the N64. It was a pretty solid racing game.

Aladdin for the Genesis was by far the greatest tie-in game I've ever played.

Good game
[u2]CbFcc-_tWNQ[/u2]

Hands down best racer I ever played, good graphics, great music, amazing level design, weird cars and characters, fun stuns, upgradeable cars that also looked badass. I think I still have it even, apparently it's rare? Btw this is one of the more boring levels in this video.

Rocket Knight Adventures and Streets of Rage are fucking fantastic picks. (Also agree with Poke Snap and SF64)

Heres some of mine

[u2]nc2ar5QlXcA[/u2]

First Sonic game I owned, Favorite level from that game. (Mostly the music)

[u2]0wF2RQaBMGs[/u2]

Ore No Ryouri. I have a PS1 jampak with this game. It never came to the US but it was so fucking fun and addictive. I still pop it in at least once a year and play it just for the hell of it. You basically use the analog stick to prepare food and fill up drinks. Kinda like beer tapper but much more hectic.

[u2]R0EYf_AG_cU[/u2]

most fun I ever had playing golf.

[u2]bGk5TwvdgUA[/u2]
this game..

Most of you guys cite Turtles in Time as your favorite TMNT game. I prefer this one, TMNT Arcade (TMNT II on the NES). (to this day, one of my favorite NES games and one of the oldest games I remember playing)

Yeah Marlin makes a good point, lets link from now on
Also I had to post one more

RAD (Robot Alchemiec Drive)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5HXsIK5noBU&feature=fvw
It was slow, the controls were clunky, and it had terrible ENGRISH. But hell was it fun. You controlled a giant robot and beat up giant aliens that came down to earth. Not only that but your robot could transform and you had rocket boots....

I always loved the quality in the intro of Link to the Past for some reason

this is not really that nostalgic as i played it for the first time last year, but this song was oh DAYUM. I should buy this for Advance and actually beat it, I was very close from doing so that time

Holy shit Beyblade! Too many hours wasted on collecting all the different parts and battling them with my friends. But hey, the GBA game of it was kinda fun.

The clockcrew was better when I joined, then it all went down hill wait

oh video game nostalgia

I was a deprived child (and in retrospect thankful for it), so the best games I had were mostly Mac games and whatever my friends had:

-Snood (http://www.snood.com/)
-Loony Labyrinth and Crystal Caliburn Pinball (http://www.littlewingpinball.com/contents/en/downloads.html)
-3D Ultra Thrillride Pinball (http://www.gamespot.com/pc/puzzle/3dultrapinballthrillride/)
-Glider PRO (http://homepage.mac.com/calhoun/Glider%20PRO.html) (it's a free download now you guys should try it)
-An emulated version of Pokemon Red
-An emulated version of Pokemon Pinball
-Joust
-Tetris
-Sonic Pinball for Sega (do you notice a pattern)
-Super Mario World
-THPS2 for Mac
-THPS3 for Mac
-Crash Team Racing
-Mario 64
-Goldeneye 64

So basically pinball is awesome and I wish I hadn't scratched up my Thrillride CD.
