Title: Uh oh, flash player help?
Post by: Beret on August 04, 2010, 07:27:41 PM
Hey guys.

I recently went through my computer doing a disk check and cleanup, and what do you know, it seemed to uninstall flash player as an application. It still works as a built in part of Google Chrome, but I can't open .swf's on my computer without using chrome. Any ideas as to what to do?

Thanks.

Did you unplug your computer? No? Did you try going to Adobe website and redownloading flash player?

I tried redownloading it, and it won't let re download it. I get a message telling me I have the latest version built in to my browser.

Delete your browser. Install Firefox. Downlo-......Scratch that.....
Install Firefox, Delete your browser, Download flash player, download the browser, delete firefox if you want. See if that works.
Or, when in doubt, SYSTEM RESTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE!!!!

Wait, were you trying to install it with chrome? Lol, or you could just do that. But if same error pops up, try both my methods.
