Bruins beat the habs silly 4-2 in preseason game. Bergy scores two goals, and Seguin scores an assist. Seguin looks good, I think he'll make the team, but won't make a huge impact right away. Rask still looks sharp.

Milan Lucic scores a Godie Howe hat trick. (One fight, one assist, and one goal) Bruins are looking good to start this year. Chara made Ovechkin pretty much useless. Also for being the head disciplinarian's kid Campbell sure does like to goon it up.

Unfortunately I've been working during most of the games this season, but from the few I've seen I still got a lot of hope that the Hawks can pull a repeat. Turco's definitely been playin' better the last few games and Crawford isn't fantastic but he's still holding his own, and that's all I really need out of a backup.

I'd just like to take the time to thank Phil Kessel for being a quitter and moving to a loser's team like Toronto. Without your selflessness we would have never gotten a half decent rookie. Also thanks to Wideman, for getting Campbell and Horton who are much more aggressive, and know where the back of the net is. I expect the Sens not to show up on account of their coach possibly hanging in his closet for being a total utter failure who doesn't know how to use what he's got. If he shows up, and does manage not to hang himself he'll probably be fired by January, and the Sens should get at least the third draft pick. Also it'll take me at least the next three days to catch up on all the other games going on today. In all seriousness though whoever is goal tending tonight (Probably Thomas) they're going to have to watch out for Kovalev, and Alfie. Willing to bet Horton will get another goal.
Edit: Sorry Clam. :( I hope you guys get a really good rookie next year. Speaking of good rookies Seguin and Caron did great. Thomas pulled off another sweet shut out.

Thomas once again puts on a show stopping Philly, and coming back strong against the lightning. Pretty sure the only reason we got 8 was because we finally started taking advantages of lucky bounces. On another note it'd be nice to know like yesterday if they're going to trade Marco Sturm or not. I like him, but he wasn't worth Joe Thornton.

Seriously I feel like I'm the only one that saw that Canucks player clearly rip off the net to get that penalty, nobody even talked about it afterwards but the replay so clearly shows him reaching out and grabbing the thing after he didn't actually dislodge it from the hit.

I hope Philly continues to have a goaltending problem. In fact I hope they have to pull the goalie every game. Though Chicago proved that you can win a cup with mediocre goaltending.

Bad news for the thrashers. Apparently Lil Wayne isn't interested in investing in them.
Anyhow real hockey talk. Got game 3 tonight, and that should be plenty interesting. Not only do I think it's good to bring hockey to Florida, I think it's great for the fans to get to see their grandparents a little more often. I'm expecting defense to be a little tighter, and I think Seguin will probably get more minutes but not as many as he'd probably deserve.
Also I didn't catch too much of last night's game with Vancouver, but I saw highlights and I watched the 2nd period and about 1/4 of the 3rd. (Which in my opinion sums it up) Sharks are going to melt down pretty quick. Sucks too because I picked the Sharks to win that series, but then again I picked Detroit before that. I hope Vancouver's time off keeps them dull in the finals.

Yeah you must have really not watched that game to say that in jest. It was one of the best hockey games I've ever seen. Great goaltending, great defense, it really showed how superior those two teams were to either the Sharks or the Canucks.

He's had 3 fights in the NHL this year and each one of them he was voted the loser according to hockeyfights.com. His game is to pretty much grab his opponent in real tight and hold on close while not really throwing any real punches. That's why he'll keep going back and fourth between the NHL and AHL until some goon trying to make a name for himself mops the floor with him.

It might sort of give you an idea of what happened but not really. Take game 6 for an example. You wouldn't know why Mason Raymond was hurt, you wouldn't have a clue why folks were saying the Sedins are pussies, and you definitely wouldn't be able to get an idea of how well each individual unit worked.

I think a good goalie will always be more valuable than a great shooter because you can have mediocre shooters and a great goalie and still win a lot of games but I really don't think it works the other way around.

I've got to charge the battery before I upload it, and get some sleep. Since there's gonna be a lot of em should I just make my own thread for it?
