There's inconsistency in the line detailing (hands vs face) which takes a way from the style, in my view. And, not really a big deal, but why such poor jpg compression?

Yea the hands annoy me too. Unfortunately there wasn't time to redo them, I only had one day.
The poor compression is due to me not knowing how to change the image size in illustrator, and the current size is too massive to save as a jpeg. So I was lazy and screen-captured it : (
Holy fuck JPG compression dude. JPG is really only for photos and lots and lots of gradients and shit. for images with whole groups of colours and shit, i.e: cartoons, you want to use PNG. Also you can just preview the damn compression to make sure it doesn't look like shit.
