They probably didn't care if it was "good enough" all that matters is that it was made by Banksy and they can tell everyone hey look at this Banksy made the intro of this episode! That he made it the way he did only attracts more attention to them and their show which is a good thing for them.
If they actually cared about their show being good anymore they would hire better writers, but seeing as The Simpsons is just a cash cow and will bring in the dough without actually being funny anymore they won't do that.
