Hello, I haven't been using Flash for a while and I have a question...
First, when I was using Flash I used the MX 2004 Version, which is 6 versions older than the current one.
And back then I was manually doing camera effects (Zoom in, zoom out, movement etc...)
There was a thing called Action Script Camera but I never used it, because it wasn't supported when exporting to .AVI files or whatever video files.
Sooo... My question is...
Are there new useful tools which can help me do camera effects, or do I still have to use the old way of motion tweening a Movie Clip with the scene?
(And so it will be also supported when exporting to other video files)
like a vcam?
The Vcams that are coded now work excellently. I use the code from this one (http://bryanheisey.com/blog/?page_id=19), but I constructed the actual camera on my own. Also, when you want to export, you're going to want to export it as a .mov instead of an AVI since for some reason AVI's don't recognize movieclips and you'll also see the camera moving around on the screen instead of the camera moving the way it should in your .swf. If you need any help, let me know.

By the way, which version of Flash most people use now? The newest one? or CS4? older?
