Try recording some of your own. I know it sounds dumb, but sometimes if you're creative enough (and have a good mic) you can get some nice effects.

Freesound is also a good source for sound effects, among many other things, but you'll have to register an account before you can download anything.

yeah that would be helpful.

a wikipage that has all the sound effect websites and you can just pick from them. then also some tips on how to make good quality ones on your own.
I know if you have a crappy microphone like myself and audacity you can record something in there and do the noise removal thing and it works like a dream.

I would write a wikipage on this if I could be a clockopedia editor or something or corpse or topcatyo needs to write it.

The great thing about Wikis is that rules can be unbroken and style can be repaired after the fact. So if you like, you don't even have to pay attention to those until the work is already done.

Quote from: RibsClock;1792683It's definitely a good start. I'd like to also go through and start making sure all those sites are clean (I am of the opinion regarding links that no link should be included unless it is dead certain to not have viruses or spyware of any sort)

Here's the changes I made, and here's what it looks like now. I also updated the manual of style to include the header syntax errors you were running into there (which are weird, I was running into those the other day too, I didn't think that happened on wikipedia but eh whatever, easy fix). This should sort of give you an idea of what I'm going for as far as how pages should look and function, with an emphasis on being readable and professional.

I went ahead and amalgamated it into 'Flash Resources' for the time being, and I'm hoping we can expand this page to include all number of flash resources.

you are great thanks!
