So fellows we started a collab in Clocktopia. It is over 1/2 done, and it is pretty great.
Unfortunately, Clocktopia is on life support, so this collab is an orphan and a refugee.
Let's bring this shit back to life.

That's fair enough. :) From the screenshots it looks pretty sweet, but if you're feeling burnt out on it it just becomes a chore, and that's not conductive to sweet movie-makin'.

So in keeping with the theme of the collab I've been dicking around (DOHOHO) on my part. But after seeing everyone else's parts a wave of inspiration has washed over me and I shall resume working on part 12.

I like the redrawn version much better. :) If you're still looking for crit - the drip effect might look more natural if you rounded it out in each frame, as opposed to the straight line it is currently.

Make the bottom of the mask have rounded ends so that the stream is round.
You can also draw two drop shapes, make them into a symbol, and tween that along the path of the spill, over the masked spill.

Seriously though, I've got the whole thing storyboarded out, and most of the art done. It's mostly the animation left, which may take a bit because I want it to look good but animation was never my strong point.

My dicking around part is going to be the best thing I have ever made. I'm putting a lot of effort into it.
But I only started it after coming back to the Clock Crew about a week ago, and even then only on and off. If I rush it I will hate it forever. I don't think anyone said up until a day or two ago that we decided to have it released by Clockday. If I knew beforehand that was the case, I would have put more time into it earlier. I'm going out today for a family engagement, but will try to work on it in the evening for all the good it'll do me. The fifteenth I have to apply for jobs at my university, so probably won't be able to work on anything until Clockday is already over.
TLDR: I said from the beginning no guarantees. :(

Sounds like my PTF troubles :(. Did everyone name their symbols and files uniquely? Also, make sure none of them are set as event. That ruined a lot for me with PTF.

Zen, when you're finished your part there are people here who can convert it to flash 8 format. ClockRadio and Piney have converted two of the parts already. I can send you the .fla if you can't find another way, but it is over 100mb with nested folders all over the place.

Okay, how do people not know to name all their symbols and tweens something unique? Is this the first collab you guys have participated in?
As for music, I left my part's music inside the movie clip. I assume you can either put each part inside each movie clip, or delete all the little parts and just have the whole song streaming for the entire movie (this would mean each movie clip goes on for its allotted time all inside the same scene).

And this is actually a better method of doing it so you don't have little breaks in between the parts.

Yeah there are still a lot of problems with it right now, so I feel sorry for Ivy trying to compile it all originally. Fonts aren't broken down and somebody decided it'd be a good idea to filter rape some parts. So much so that it's telling me "Warning: Filter will not render. The DisplayObject's filtered dimensions (3891, 607) are too large to be drawn. And Blob didn't put his part into an MC and lajsdlkaj now it's getting out of sync because someone's part isn't the proper length. Ugh. Come on kiddies.

Yep. It took me a while to figure it out, but I knew something wasn't right. That part K3ltr0n thing originally comes after Ankh's part. So I had to go into soundbooth and edit the audio. I think it should work correctly now.

Bah sorry for not responding back. I opened the message and then had to let my dogs out for barking so danged much. When I came back I just saw mozilla was open, so my natural instinct was to close it. I AM A HORRIBLE PERSON.
Anyhow, no no, you guys helped out a lot by renaming stuff. I didn't start over completely from what you guys did. In fact, most of it is the same. I just went in changed some people's parts to graphics, took out the audio and that's about it.

Offset the image towards the end so now it syncs with the song correctly (I'm counting a possible one frame off but whatevs):

Oh no, it hasn't happened yet. It'll be in about 9 hours. Although I don't mean if you mean we missed it for 8/16/11 or 8/17/11. TIME ZONES ARE CONFUSING.
And I'm not on my trip yet. Currently waiting for my ride to the airport :hmph:
