It's because we're all talking here, the cc forums is in a conversation format, and do you use titles when you talk? Titles are an unnecessary formality 'round these parts. Using titles in the cc is like a british guy going to a bar in the wild west and asking for a cranberry juice.

Ok then, how about the part where I accidentally recruited someone? He made cool avatars already for his NG page, and I credited him (even tho he didn't do a damn thing) in my cartoons. It would be nice to have someone tell him more accurately how to go about everything, that way you don't go through all this with him lol.
Also, I get the vote 5 thing in a diff way. The way I see it, there are plenty of crews and just asshole users that would love to stare at the portal all day and vote 0, and then there are the other users who may care more and individualize their votes with like a 3 or something. We're a force of 5's that balance the fate of the portal. It's all right here:

you should just tell your friend to lurk the forums for a week or two before posting. that's the best way to learn how a particular forum operates.
also about the voting, we aren't exactly trying to balance the portal, but show how irrelevant scores are. especially in a place like NG that is drowning in retards with irrelevant opinions that spend hours reviewing generally terrible flash movies. we mock them by trying to interrupt their little voting power trips. at least that is my take, 'what the clock crew means' has never been agreed upon, and never will be
