Yea fuckin a i remember seeing this! It's not thematicallly rock em sock em, but the concept of the film is obviously taken from that

It's actually based on a short story called "Steel".

But it reminded me of Rock 'Em Sock 'Em robots and I thought that was funny.

Also when Hugh Jackman's character yelled "Let's make some MONEY!" it reminded me of this.
