Title: My tablet is no longer functiong properly
Post by: PoisonshroomClock on July 08, 2011, 01:28:29 AM
It started acting like this a while a go, but haven't tried to find any solutions myself 'till now.

The problem is that there's a slight delay after each time my Stylus pen 'clicks', or hits the Tablet. For example, if I were to draw a line I'd lift the pen off the Tablet the second the line is finished, but it thinks my pen is still held down for a second or so.
Meaning when I move the pen to draw something else, it treats the two separate movements as one.

Which is frustrating the fucking shit out of me.

Here's a drawing example to try and show what I mean:

I paid $300 for this and miss using it, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

ps; Using a Bamboo 'Fun' Tablet on Windows 7. I just updated my drivers, if that means anything

Haha

Actually yeah you should draw something while it's like that and post it, I want to see how that would turn out (sorry we're not helping).

I'd like to err away from the tablet being faulty (for your sake obviously!!) so I'd suggest plugging it into a different computer if you haven't already and test it on there. If it works fine, then it's likely a software issue on your computer, or your computer is just using  more resources than normal and not allocating enough to the tablet. In that case you could reinstall the drivers/ start closing out extra processes.

Best of luck to you!

Yeah now you mention it, I think it simply might be my PC being slow. I'm looking to upgrade it soon so if I don't fix it by then, hopefully it will work itself out
