Would you be willing to participate in CC Weekly Artistic events?
Option 1: es, most definitely! I\'ll be there every week!

Option 2: es, but I\'m not sure I\'d be able to make it every week. I\'ll try my hardest to get there often though!

Option 3: o, I doubt I\'d even show up. Maybe like once

Option 4: o, I\'d never show up ever. This is a stupid idea.

This is mainly for me to see how many of you are actually interested in starting any of these back up again. Only reply with a yes if you're more than 80% sure you'd be able to show up to the weekly (or whatever-ly) meetings/sessions or be able to submit an entry for each event. I would like to see a large number of people partaking in the sessions as I really do want to help our members improve artistically or inspire them somehow. The only way for this kind of thing to work out is if we have a steady turnout for each week (again, only if these are weekly events).
I'm also open to suggestions so don't be shy now.
Um, I don't know what those are, but I'm up for whatever!

You can submit them to my gmail for my own personal pleasures.

Ooh! Yes yes yes! Sign me up!
The Clock Crew Academy, that name brings back so many memories. It was brought to a stop because no one was participating anymore. Even the old regulars suddenly vanished. It's no fun hosting a Clock Crew Academy with only one participant.
I could give a shot at hosting again, but I don't want to be the only one.

This is what I experienced when I started up the CC Saturday School. People showed up at first, but then within a couple of weeks of its birth, it died out. I just don't want to have to deal with a situation like that again because it's a bit disappointing :(
We have to get the js chat ready first.
I'd like to participate as much as I can, but I'll have to see how busy I'd be on the days you host them.
I don't think I've participated in Phlash Phandango so I'd love too.
CC Academy was a lot of fun, I miss that.

I'll join, man! Whenever possible, of course. Gotta practice my trackpad drawing skills.
Oh shit, i had some clocks to draw... I'm on that!
I don't know if they should of been less frequent (bi-weekly? monthly?) but any time I actually got in on that I actually made stuff, which is not to be expected
So yes, but maybe with a bit less weekly-ness that would just make it saturate fast

So something more bi-weekly. I'm sure I could manage that if we start this up again. Any other suggestions on how to make it better/anything you would specifically want to learn (if we bring back Saturday School as well)?
I'd like it to be weekly.
Are timezones an issue?
Quote from: FloundermanClock;1848123I'd like it to be weekly.
What if we had two different events running (let's just say Phandango and Saturday School) as bi-weekly in a way that they alternate weeks. So there's something still going on every week.
Quote from: BoltClock;1848132Are timezones an issue?
They might be. Once we decide on whether not to even host these things, then we'll try our best to pick a proper time to start each event. We want to get as many people as possible.
well I mean each event should be weekly, and concurrent. I misread I guess we agree.

EDIT: Where on God's green earth did the CC version of that go??

If you can find it I'll make piney add it. Also you should try to find that gif of urkle or whoever holding his glasses and the green lantern one.
when i was on staff i put phlash phandango back together. expect like 3 turnouts.we have more active flashers now than then but good luck
I participated in the Phandango as much as I could, but CC Academy was always scheduled around the time I have supper, so I couldn't attend.
If they came back, that's probably how it would remain.
I always loved cc academy, I would attempt to participate as best i can
Thanks you guys for giving me some feed back on this! I'll have to try to come up with some sort of plan to get these started up again over the next month.
Might be able to keep it fresh if we have specific teachers for specific topics on different days. Who doesn't like guest teachers after all?
I was wondering if we could start up some sort of writer's workshop thing with a parallel prompt system as I'm very rusty and I know I need the practice. I dunno how many people would be interested though.
CC Academy was fun the three or four times I participated. I think I was never there because of the time it was held or something, but I'd participate if I could.
I saw these about two years ago and was never able to participate because they were on friday nights (blah blah social gatherings). But they sound amazing, and I'd love to participate!

I was actually hoping we'd be able to do this. I was going to ask ZL and Topcatyo if they'd be interested. Or if you'd like to that would be dandy!

I am!
Me too.
We should rotate between a set of days and times in the week that we would hold this that we would alternate. This way, somebody who can't make it because of the time the one week might be able to make it the next week.
Also I think we should do these every two weeks and just make them more jam-packed when we do them.
I would show up (almost) every week if the thing was
1. At a time I could easily make
2. Had regular non-sticky (I just sort of ignore stickies these days) thread the day before the class every week to remind people (and maybe say what'll be taught the next day???) in General Discussion.
The reasons I've quite in the past was not out of disinterest so much as conflicting schedule and forgetting it exists.
I won two PP's and was in the academy a lot so yeah I'd still do it.

The entire Academy Host Crew is reunited once again. Well, except for TreeClock, but unless he brings back our money, we can do without him. Having different hosts would really be appreciated, because it was quickly turning into a chore to do it all on my own every week.
needs cc prizes for attendance.
Quote from: Thor;1849303needs cc prizes for attendance.
I've actually been thinking about possible prizes to give out for all events. I was originally planning on finding somewhere that does custom poster prints (and a good job at it) and having them make a couple of
these. That's only if people actually wanted them. Depending on the cost, I might be able to cough up some money on a regular basis to have them as prizes for Phandangos.
But you guys let me know!
I imagine we could award CCs for participating in CC Academy and whatnot when we get that system set up. That'll be cool.
