smoke weed every day
The only way it's going to get legalized is if people get pissed off and start speaking through voting
If anyone bans kombucha for this autoplay I'm going to follow you throughout the grid and argue with you about every dumb little thing I possibly can.
vuvezala just came
Doesnt matter to me. I'm fine with my guy who i meet at the end of my street.

Are you fine with paying ~$25 for 3 1/2 grams of a plant that grows out of the ground
Quote from: Sombra;1864736Are you fine with paying ~$25 for 3 1/2 grams of a plant that grows out of the ground
I pay 45-60$ for 14 grams or 80$ for 28 grams so I'm good.
Whatever, doesn't impede me in any manner.
uh buys who yeah legal marijuana

cant fly out to europe either, america is now policing OTHER COUNTRIES. Hahaha.
i care dont live in wait even canada nvm
Smoke weed every day.
This seems like routine, Bush did the same thing, they'll probably shut down a fair amount in San Fran and San Diego. This is pretty bullshit though and doesn't spell out good tidings for the future of legalization.
A week ago the Netherlands basically made it so tourists can't use the shops that sell marijuana anymore.

our government hates money and tourism

That's only proposed, a lot of bills that get proposed never make it, otherwise we wouldn't be able to buy video games anymore.
I hope to god that doesn't fly, though, that'd be a bullshit law. How would they enforce it, anyway.
thank GOd i never wanna smoke legally
by the way i thought i had posted this earlier, but I guess I didnt, but if i did and it got deleted, just know im joking
This is an impedance of the progress of culture, like covering up the groins of Greek statues with fig leaves.
Granted, marijuana isn't exactly a linchpin of global progress, but I think it is one of the victims of the restraints of society, so I'm pretty dismayed to hear about this sort of thing.

I told him to but he was too high to remember.

It's probably not that significant. What do you think it is?
legislation of morality from social conservatives
an extension of the prison industrial complex
protection for the medical pharmaceutical industrial complex
hot button issue for states rights
people mad about not being able to buy a plant that makes them goofy and pretending they're mad about something more serious
Will not stop anyone from doing it anyway.

All of these sound quite serious.
Quote from: Slurpee;1864831people mad about not being able to buy a plant that makes them goofy and pretending they're mad about something more serious
This is the point where it starts to fall down. Can't they fabricate a more significant argument?
it's just civil liberties who cares about shit like that LOL

God fucking DAMMIT this government is fucking shit and makes me want to burn the hague to the fucking ground. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaa
In all seriousness, this is fucking ridiculous. I've always avoided buying weed from 'friends' because I don't trust them and I do trust coffeeshops.
xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDd lol idc

No, it's not. It's an attack on our liberties.
Quote from: Asshatclock;1864839Will not stop anyone from doing it anyway.
It deends on how often or strictly they enforce the random checks on cafes. They could either be just paying lip service tot he idea or actually enforce it, we will see.
I have no doubt the US government will act to close dispensaries though.
While I agree it's a restriction of personal liberties yada yada I wonder who actually smokes strong weed? I bought some once and a friend took two tokes and puked in the coffeeshop urinal. I finished the entire thing, but got paranoid as hell and had to leave. (A second friend looked after pukey.) The first hour I spent lying on a cold brick wall, listening to violent puking noises coming from a window above. The second I spent draped over a table in a bar, with the waitress coming over multiple times asking if she had to call an ambulance. Somehow I prefer a couple of cheap low-grade joints that give me the giggles and maybe make me talk a bit loud.

I read that as if it was a monologue in some gangster film.

I smoke strong weed on occasion, and so do a lot of people I know. This whole thing is like saying some alcoholic beverages are banned. Beer is still okay but wine is absolutely not.

Once you smoke enough you generally stop getting paranoid.

I have no idea what you're talking about. If you're talking about an alcoholic beverage that got banned, also know this has never happened in the Netherlands.

I'm pretty sure absinthe brewed like it should be is still banned
Isn't this good news for illegal marijuana farms? I guess we'll be seeing a lot more execution vids from mexico

Nailed it. Thank god there are people like you who are actually aware of things like the Prison Industrial Complex etc

Well yeah, the prohibition of drugs in the first place is precisely what allows criminals to make a profit and inevitably leads to massive amounts of gang violence. Anybody who is educated on what happened during the alcohol prohibition can put the pieces together, the exact same thing is happening right now.

You mean smoke more in one sitting or spread it out to get used to it? Once you get through the puking and the paranoia, then what? Is that zombie-like state the desired effect or should I also smoke through that? If so what is the desired effect?
i havent gotten paranoid once
maybe bcause i dont have to hide it from mom n dad etc
That's cool; you're cool.
Quote from: EnglishClock;1865350Nailed it. Thank god there are people like you who are actually aware of things like the Prison Industrial Complex etc
I wouldn't thank God for me. It's not like I'm changing anything.
PIC is such a godforsaken nightmare and people are so fucking heartless and bloodthirsty about prisoner's rights, I'm one of those people that's just about given up any hope of changing it or informing anybody. It hurts too much, to fight something so ugly so helplessly.

well I would start with less to build up tolerance and to avoid paranoia. As for the desired effect? Feeling awesome and everything else feeling awesome I dunno. It's different for everyone, some people just get way more paranoid than others, so it's really a case of picking your own poison.
greyclock got skooled by miraclefruit
Also, as with most things that don't affect me, i honestly couldn't care less. Men don't need drugs to escape from reality... they use copious amounts of alcohol.
my greatest legacy in the clock crew is creating the smoke weed every day loop

Seems like a lot of work with little pay-off? I mean when hanging out I typically smoke four or five cheap joints spread out over the evening, which make me feel awesome already. One strong joint can cost as much as four regular ones as well. Is it really that different?
Phew. I was worried the mob was going to go out of business!
I built up a tolerance to feeling awesome and now I feel bad
Quote from: Buttplug;1865117No, it's not. It's an attack on our liberties.
That sort of thing has deep repercussions.
