I wholeheartedly agree with this revision.
I'm all for it. Long as the person can prove it's public domain/abandonware/something we can't get in trouble for.
Makes sense, I can't see this coming into play often though.
I voted yes as well.
I'm fine so long as the guy who pays the bills (Tom) doesn't get upset.
Posting a link to the homepage of a torrent site in the context of a thread about, for example, "how to obtain Flash" would still be advocating piracy, and thus still be "against the rules," no?
Other than that, I'm all for torrent links to Night of the Living Dead or "51,000 MIDI Files Saved from GeoCities."
Quote from: clammo;1872082In that context, the intention is towards the promotion of piracy, and should be against the rules. But if someone just asked "whats a good torrent site?" and you responded with a tpb link, how is that any different from responding to "whats a good search engine?" with a google link?
Agreed.
i'm down
No harm, aye
i have no problems with this

On that note, tpb isn't really a great torrent tracker, and if anyone would like a demonoid invite they can feel free to pm me.
