I warned you. This will probably make you feel sick. It starts about a minute in, when he turns off the fucking lights.

I kind of wish I could see her parents flogged publicly.
Jesus fucking Christ.
I wish I had posted this in Plato's Playground to start a discussion about parental corporal punishment.
Wish granted. Also I used to get hit with a belt as a kid til I started hitting back. It doesn't feel very good, and it doesn't fix bad behavior.
just start a new thread. This doesn't come under typical parental punishment, or spanking or anything, this is abuse
Yeah thats conservative family values for you.

Me too, though nothing near as bad as that video. The last time my father tried to belt me I stood up and told him no, cut his belt in half and threw it away. He wasn't expecting that, I think.

In my case it was learned behavior, since we were not an overly religious family, and my parents were actually more moderate than conservative. If course conservative values can foster corporal punishment being passed down from father to child. What is disturbing is that this man is a judge in a family court, and you really have to wonder how it would affect his decisions.
For me, I took my father's cane and beat his knees in with it because I knew he had a ton of surgeries on his knee caps. I got hit about this hard, and it sucked. I also used to get punched in the face, and I used to have to physically defend my mother too. My father was a real scumbag. This guy reminds me a lot of him. I'd like to kick his knees myself if I could.
Please tell me he was sent to prison or something, for the love of fuck what an asshole.

Good for you, man.
What blows my mind, like someone mentioned, is that he is a fucking judge. They go through a lot of school to get there. Somewhere along the way he must have been taught that physical punishment actually has the fucking reverse effect in many cases. Violence does breed violence in cases like that. That's thought of by many sociologists and criminologists to be one of the main factors that the South has always had the highest violent crime rates.
She seems to have just posted that recently, even though it happened a long time ago, but I'll be keeping an eye out to see if this pig gets what he deserves.
Turns out his daughter has cerebral palsy. This guy is an even bigger piece of shit than I thought.
http://www.kristv.com/full-coverage/video-claims-to-show-aransas-county-judge-hit-daughter/#fcanchor
QuoteROCKPORT - Aransas County Court at Law Judge William Adams has spoken to our Andy Liscano about a video the judge's daughter posted on Youtube showing a beating in 2004.
Judge Adams told us, "It happened years ago.. I apologized."
When asked if he thought the conduct in the video was excessive, Judge Adams said, "It's not as bad as it looks on tape."
Judge Adams also informed us he has already contacted the Judicial Review in Austin and "more will come out" during the investigation.
Bolded for emphasis, presented without comment
If it didn't look as bad as it felt, then why keep it for 7 years without forgiving?

I'm not defending the father but from what I've read, she's the one claiming to have cerebral palsy. Again, not defending the father but she could certainly benefit in being perceived as having a mental disability.
this is horrible :(
but I opened this thread (http://www.clockcrew.cc/talk/showthread.php?99852-clams-duck-animation) directly after and I felt better again
If it was seven years ago he really can't get in much trouble for it, to spite it being fucked up. At worst he'll lose his job

That's true, but the general public can and seems to be doing a great job of making this guy's life a living hell.
