Clock Crew

This is usually the time of year when I post something up saying HEY GUYS GO MAKE SOME BILL MURRAY FLASH YO, however I am aware that the turnout for the last 2 years has been poor (myself included) and there is a portion of people who aren't too keen on the idea.

This is frankly, I think because the idea isn't really any good, or at least has grown stale over time.

I was hoping to get an idea of what people think I should do with Bill Murray Week, so please do vote and all.

The problem with Bill Murray Week, I think, is that it takes place during exam&essay week for just about everybody past high school. The original event was most likely made up by high school kids when they all, or mostly all, had much more time to work on this kind of thing at that time of year.

We've probably grown out of it.

If I'm right on this, Bill Murray flashes usually don't actually have anything to do with Bill Murray's movies, he just happens to be the star. Maybe we should pick a film starring Bill Murray to watch, and then we'll make a collab out of jokes we come up with from watching the movie.

Or we could move it like a week before or something, so that it's not during exam time like ClockRadio said.

I love Bill Murray, but I can't do any better than Bill Murray Space Jam. I vote to retire it.

I love Bill Murray day and have a flash half-done for it.

But I don't know if I'll have it ready for this year's holiday.

Maybe the Bill Murray days should be built up? Like when we have 10 BM flashes prepared collectively, that day becomes the new BM day.

Actually, scratch that.  Maybe Bill Murray has to live alongside the clocks as another valuable character and not be isolated into his own time.

It saddened me last year when barely anyone submitted anything :( Hoping for a better turn out this year!

Bill Murray is awesome and we do need to keep honoring him, but yeah maybe a new way of doing so might not be a bad idea.

I suggest that whoever doesn't submit something for each event that the CC creates is banned for a certain amount of time. Maybe that would finally get the CC to make flash.

The whole crew would be banned including the ones with the power to ban and we would be wiped from existence

I like what Zombie Lincoln said.  We should retire the week and just make Bill Murray a character we use.  The man's awesome enough he doesn't need to be confined to a week.

Retire it and I'll write up a proposal for Recruitment Day to be placed in December in its place tonight.

But if we must have Bill Murray Week designate each day for movies based on a Bill Murray movie.

If you're planning a new event december isnt a great place for it. Not only has BM week shown people to be busy, but a lot of the less busy people would still rather focus their efforts on a clockmas flash. Maybe itd be best regardless of the outcome of this to do your new event at a later date

I'd say retire it, most of the participation is limited to a few people that will make a flash, and it's been done and done again. The guy has been immortalized in the clock crew through silly jokes and catchy songs.

although having a day dedicated to him during the flash flood would still be nice.

Yo Timey Time was the shit. I cracked up so hard for some reason when I saw it. Maybe because I was like 14.

i don't know what timey time is but my vote still goes for bill murray being another character that we use whenever.  i'm okay with starting timey time again if it's what i think it is
