I'm 28. I joined when I was 14, I think. I play, stream, commentate on and write about video games unprofessionally. I had my first gig at PAX Prime this year where I interviewed indie developers live on Twitch. Now that I have my foot in the door, I'm trying to pursue a career in games journalism or eSports commentating while I do whatever pays the bills. But, mainly, I drink too much, and should never have lived this long. Looking back on things, I wouldn't be doing what I'm doing now without the Clock Crew. Doing CC Radio helped me learn to be comfortable with my own voice. Making horrible animations in Flash got me comfortable with other editing software I'm using nowadays. Making awful Photoshop stupidity made it so I do all my own graphics work. But, most importantly, I think that the CC gave me a sense of community, and has helped me learn to help others. Whether it's with something creative, or somebody just needs to vent, or a shoulder to cry on. It's helped give me a reason to not off myself.

I beta tested this back when it first came out, and loved it. It's pretty much the most advanced music toy out there that anyone can sit down and use. Looks like it's come a long way. Sadly, it crashed as soon as I threw down a second module and I can't be bothered to try again when I've got Live & Reason sitting in my quicklaunch.

Now I want a Monome even more
