Well, it's a capitalist world. Capitalism is theoretically an ideal way of rewarding the hard working, and managing productivity. On the down-side, every political ideology is sought as ideal by it's philosophers. Not everything is perfect and some will have to live with the consequences.
I would consider myself to represent capitalism. However, I also believe that without economic equality the world isn't the same for some of us. When people who are less fortunate with their position in life, fiscally -along with the thought of people with mental illnesses who can't pay, poverty, expensive treatment, etc. (social issues)- the result only adds to problems like the drug war. I believe that people control their own discussions, but there is going to be more illicit acts when there is less opportunities.
America is such a beautiful country; it's sad to see the recession hit with such devastation.
