Quote from: MiracleFruitClock;1968678so because youre a dummy who listens to other hyped up dummies that makes these perfectly good movies bad?

Still didn't care for the film regardless of other people's opinions; didn't keep my interest oh well whoops.

ITT everyone get upset about someone not liking a film they love oh well might as well say I haven't seen Goodfellas and don't care enough to see it. Haven't seen The Usual Suspects and don't care enough to see it. Haven't seen Reservoir Dogs and don't care enough to see it. Haven't seen Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie but have been meaning to see it.

Quote from: MiracleFruitClock;1968667he was kidding but youre just awful :wiebel:

I know, but I wasn't. Possibly because everyone I know said it was "the greatest movie ever" (same with Inception). It really wasn't that great whoops.

I didn't really care for this either.

Quote from: AstronautClock;1968603explain why you hate frozen. the movie maybe had one too many songs but the story and animation were top-notch I am really impressed with the way disney handles 3d

I was really not impressed with the animation at all actually and there were a few compositing errors that they left in there. There were a lot of scenes that weren't necessary and added nothing to the overall plot (as well as characters). And one of my biggest issues with it was character development, or rather, the lack there of. Also, who the hell was the main character?

A few random ones from the top of my head Frozen, The Social Network, Rushmore, Inception (not so much disliked, but just felt "eh" about it).

Yeah, that's how I basically start the feedback by shining the light onto the monitor or directly into the lens of the camera. But then everything else gets manipulated by the angle of the camera, the focus, zoom, iris, etc. Plus with that monitor that I have there are dials on top that control the color, v blank, tint and a few other options.

Hey guys, last time I was back I think I was talking about how I'm done with animation and everything. Well since then I've started doing some live visual work around the east coast. Here are some links since I can't really embed them.

old work in progress of a music video I had started

footage from a show I did back in January with Grimecraft, DJ Cutman, and Megaran

from the show I did at Magfest

Seems kind of stupid, but all of the images are created with a small flashlight, a monitor, and a really old VHS camera.

This is still an issue for me. I keep getting the "file upload failed" message. No matter what the dimensions/file size of the image.

Quote from: PatriotClock;1968426We took a vote and decided to sell this site off to Malaysian interests so we're in the process of migrating. Eventually our new Malaysian overlords will be in control of this forum and word on the street is they're into the Quran so you better read up.

Actually me. Thanks for the site guys.

Can I create a Zombie Lincoln character who has to struggle with colorblindness?

I would throw money your way if I actually had any. Congrats on passing your goal though!

Well happy ClockDay to everyone celebrating this year! I hope I'll have time to look at some movies later this evening.

Some of you already know that I write a lot of music on/for the original Nintendo Gameboy. Well now I finally released my first album containing nothing but songs written on the hardware. If you download it, you get all of the source files so you can play it back on your own Gameboy or emulator. It was also recorded and mastered by DJ Cutman. I hope you guys enjoy it. I've worked really hard on this.

I should note, this is a very abstract film done as sort of an homage to the work of Viking Eggeling and early Oskar Fischinger.

Hey guys, long time no see. Thought I'd share something with just you guys and only you since you were my first animation family. Here's my senior thesis I completed a few months ago. It won't be up here for long, so watch it while you can. I'm currently waiting to get word back from the Ottawa Animation Film Festival (as well as a few others) on whether or not it's been accepted for this year's screening. You should really watch this with headphones or really good speakers. There are a lot of frequencies that are very low and very high that won't get picked up on bad computer speakers.

There was no video used in the film. All of the movement you see was animated (painfully) by me. All of the sound design was done by myself as well. They were all recorded around the city and other places including my old apartment. The X-rays were actual film x-rays that were shot underneath of the ice image. So there was no layering trickery or any of that going on. I wanted to keep 90% of the film's movement all within camera and without the assistance of extra programs. Overall time spent on this was about 3-4 months of full on animation and editing.

This is also the very first cut of the film, and not the one that I currently have as the "finished" product.

End credits are above my current skill set too probably.

Strangely I found this out through my girlfriend who's interning at Frederator and not through here. I'm pretty sure the people in the office love the show, man. So again, congrats!
