this is the writing thread so i assume this topic goes here. anyways. im doing a genre analysis in my film class and i have no idea what to do. im going to talk about the main ideas, things ive noticed are similar, but that wont even be close to 500 words. can anyone lend me a hand?

im stuck in a rut. every single time i want to branch out and discover new areas, i get kidnapped by psychopaths. ive tried everything. nail guns, hunting knives, cacti, chainsaws, but theres always one that managed to get behind you and kidnap you.  any ideas?

and one other thing. ive been playing for like 4 weeks, and i still have no idea to answer the phone. what button is it?

my film class just wont shut up about whats better, a PC or mac. how about some opinions from people who know more than shit about computers (seriously, they know shit.)

personally, im a PC. but i only dont use macs because i havent learned to use them, and im more used to using PCs.

i need all the help i can get. im on another computer right now so im not using the one that doesnt work. The problem is we have the thing called "INTERNET SECURITY 2010" which isnt real. it tells you that you have a virus so you will buy better software and get rid of it, even though you dont have one. We did a scan with AVG, which got rid of minor things we had in the past, but the INTERNET SECURITY 2010 virus is still there. We then downloaded spyware doctor which found the virus, but told us we had to pay to get rid of it. We then found 1 2 3 spyware free, which got rid of one virus, but now we seem to have a wormhole. So when the page looking like this comes up when we turn the computer on:



we log on, and half a second later it logs us off. we know we are getting it wiped, but im trying to help out by seeing if there is anything we can do. Any help is appreciated.

As some of you may know im still the new guy so id like to ask a couple of questions. #1 What is a super moderator, ive notive several people such as Absinthe and Leek are super moderators, yet i have no idea what that is.
#2 Ive seen several people with things in their signature that show how far along they are in their flashes. Im working on a flash and i wold like to know how to get one of em.
#3 Ive notives recently alot of bannings of people who werent recently banned. What are the rules on banning, what can you be banned for, as i dont want to make any mistakes.

clock crew, i am in dire need of assistance. So i haven't been animating for very long, actually id be lying if i said i wasn't shit. So here's the deal. For some reason whenever i try to tween something across the screen it moves everything on the page over to the spot and then the last frame is what it should look like when im done. has anyone else ever had this problem and if so WHAT THE FUX DOES I DOES?

another thing. i seem to be having a problem with backgrounds. I want to have something as a background except i cant seem to get it as the bottom layer. could you tell me how to do that.
