Alright guys, all i want to do is fucking play Civilzation 5 and my shitty computer is keeping me for it.

Basically, let me try to explain. Everytime I turn my pc on, it seems to be going fine, but after about 10 minutes the pc shuts down, then restarts on it's own. At this time, the monitor does not display on the HDMI cord setting, i have to press INPUT on my monitor twice til it says DVI in the corner to see the display again.

then a little message comes up saying that I have no AMD drivers, or some shit, and that i can't play any games. Any help from the computer wizzes around?

the obvious answers probably won't be any help, I'm rather looking for someone who knows exactly what the hell is going on, but feel free to list off possible solutions anyway. thanks!

So I was just wondering how much you guys feel hatred towards other people's musical tastes. Like, if a friend tries to show you music, is it immeaditaly disgusting to you just on a basis of imagining all the stupid reasons why they would like it? I do that, that's why I only download albums that allmusic recommends in their monthly editor's choice thing. It gives me a lot of great music that a lot of people don't know of, but fuck does it make me feel really bad because I DO have that kind of horrible thing where I want my taste in shit, particularly music, to basically be RIGHT. And I don't think it has to do with being cool, I just have an irrational fear when it comes to this shit, which I think is because I spent many years working on music and I just felt so weird doing it and I still feel off about music and I'm at that point where I REALLLY don't want to hit enter and post this thread but im gonna do it anway

So the new Civ 5 expansion is coming out, Brave New World. If you've been keeping up with the game, it was almost like when they released the vanilla version way back when, it was clearly an uncompleted game. Then the first expansion game out, and it felt a bit meatier...but still oddly baren. This next game I'm thinking will really help clean that up, with trade routes being added, a world congress being added, and an Ideology system of some sort being added. Not to mention 9 new civs and a buncha other crap.

And speaking of which, the new civs honestly look pretty awesome, I was kinda ho-hum when it came to the civs released in the last expansion (Carthage, Byzantines, very typical stuff) but here we have The Shoshone, Venice, Poland, Assyria, Brazil, Portugal, The Zulu, Morocco and Indonesia. A really bad ass line-up, IMHO.

So yeah, will you guys be picking this junk up? I know I will, in fact I fuckin' had a dream about it last night, weirdly, and I JUST now remembered that, I played as the shoshone. Fuck that is so fucking weird, that seriously JUST NOW came to me, aaah, anwyay, why am I making tihs thread? Im just gonna hit submit and see what happens.
