what did you all think? I don't usually find alot to like in Nintendo Directs but this was actually ok for me lol. the new kirby game still looks delightful and I can't wait to play it, it's really fucking with my brain that its been 4 years since Star Allies.

klonoa phantasy reviere is also super exciting, I love the first klonoa and it's gonnae be great to have a chance to play 2, the PS2 version of that game isnt cheap lol. i'm rlly happy its on ps4 and pc too.

the portal companion collection is WEIRD. like I'm not gonna buy it but fuck thats just a WEIRD thing. its really WEIRD.

Saying as everyone loved the last PTF so much, I devised a sort of spin on the PTF format. Will it work? Only one way to find out!
THE JIST:
Instead of each part being a sequel to the last, each part happens at the same time. All of the parts link into each other too. For this to work you have to write your story with holes. Throw in plot holes, and unexplained events, for the next person to explain in their part! In the end up it should be a whole busy, almost world, happening all at once!

THE SPECS:
16:9 or 4:3, any FPS, MP4 only.

THE DEADLINES:
Deadline to sign up is the 14th of September, 2020. The part deadlines I think we should discuss as a group.

Is there any games you lads have played that would be otherwise great games if it weren't for one flaw? A bug, the framerate, a design decision, anything.

Metropolis Street Racer (2000, Sega Dreamcast)

I got this in really good condition for a few pounds a good while ago, and I'd heard it was great, and I'd say it is, but that dumb fucking Kudos mechanic fucking ruins it for me. Playing through the first chapter is great, until it ends and you have to grind out Kudos on the levels for like hours in order to unlock chapter 2. I like the Joker Card mechanic too, as it doubles your Kudos earned, but the problem is that you can lose Kudos. It just makes it a really frustrating game for me, which is a shame, because the controls are great, the attention to detail is masterful, and it's generally one of the fullest games the Dreamcast has to offer, with like 25 chapters with 10 circuits each. Maybe I'll try it again sometime.

Five Nights At Freddy's 4 (2015, PC)

I really like how these games play, and I especially love how they sound. They're pretty often called horror games, but I always saw them more as weird, managment/sim games with a creepy aesthetic. The 4th one went way harder on the creepy aesthetic, and changed the gameplay pretty drastically, making it more reliant on the sound design. I'd be all over that if it wasn't for that stupid door mechanic. There's two characters that will appear at the left and right door, and to make them leave you have to hold the door shut over them, which sounds easy, but you can't see if they're at the door or not, you have to listen, but the sound cue is almost indisguishable from the rest of the sounds in the game, and its so fucking quiet. At first it plays into the kind of horror of the game, but it just becomes so goddamn annoying when you were almost sure that there was no one at the door, and then die because of it. Apparantley on release it was even quieter and had to be updated, which I can't even imagine.

Ratchet And Clank: Tools Of Destruction (2007, Playstation 3)

It's probably only for me, but my disc drive gets so fucking loud when I play this, and like when I perform an action it makes this big CHUCKACHUCKA noise it gets so annoying way quicker than you'd think it would.

It's time to pay some respect to the greatest Clock of our time. He has brought us to new heights, and to new places, so today we say:
