Holy shit, I just went to the Classic Portal page, and the "Latest Submissions" movies are the same ones I was looking at before I went to bed last night! 
Even a few years ago, that would never happen; movies fell off the portal page in about an hour, not a day. Is NG really that bad? How many submissions are there when it isn't Clockday?
Even back in the mid-00s I wondered how the CC would end, but I never thought that about NG.
When I stopped going there I thought it was just me. But it wasn't.
The fact that NG and Flash are useless as shit on tablets and phones probably didn't help.
