Quote from: BilliardBall10;1972519i agree, so lets start by conquering youtube. add videos, and maybe some podcasts, OR A NEWS CHANEL with CLOCK CREW NEWS. and having funny jokes and stuff.

also we should create a site like cracked.com.
it could be cool.

I'd get on board with this! I'm heavily involved with my college's newspaper. I think we could do like a CCN type of thing where clocks comment on current events. Lets do it!

Quote from: Slurpee;1973183the web 1.0 crowd has to wake up to the realities of social networking, or get selected out.

This! This a million times. One of the reasons I dropped off the face of the portal back in 2007 is that internet moved on and so have many potential users. Newgrounds just doesn't mesh with the current landscape of apps. I would love to watch content on a smartphone and you can blame Apple all you want for that, but at some point I think some of the blame lies squarely on Newgrounds' proprietors for failing to adjust to the sea change of the mobile market. The current redesign is fancy, don't get me wrong, but it's not groundbreaking and if newgrounds wants to survive it simply must change.

I know this has all probably been said before, but its just thought I would add my $0.02.

Quote from: Topcatyo;1899713Anything good.  Let's make a list.

I think StrangeClock's work would be a start. Satellite's Telltale Heart series too.

I will, but first I want some input from the community about what should go on the air.

General Discussion / Kony 2012 finally arrested!
March 16, 2012, 10:09:40 PM
Seriously! I can't believe the whole Kony viral campaign went along for so long. There are so many issues with Invisible Children and the video they released. Time to focus on Syria America (and World).

So my college has a channel on local TV in Schenectady, New York. They need to fill a lot of time slots. I think this would be a good opportunity to put some of the Clock Crew's work on the air. Thoughts?

General Discussion / Future of Flash?
November 17, 2011, 03:57:58 AM
Its been a very long time since I've posted a thread, but the reason I'm back is to ask what you guys think about Adobe's decision to kill flash for mobile devices. A lot of articles that I've been reading say this spells the eventual doom of flash for PCs as well. What are your thoughts Clock Crew?

Quote from: F U Clock;1842295I live in Syracuse. Albany's about 2 hours away. What school?

One of the kids I work with showed me his NG account and said he was in the CC for a brief period of time but can't remember which Clock he was and none of his Flashes reference it. Still, kind of counts.

We should definitly chill when I get up there. Get at me on AIM on MSN.

I'm going to Union, its right outside Albany near the GE headquarters. Yeah, I also haven't really contributes flash or been active on the forum since like '07. I've been running Linux and I couldn't get flash to work, but now I got a new computer with windows so it looks like I'm back in business.

Reception Desk / Back for a bit
June 10, 2010, 09:42:30 AM
I'm back for a while. Its been a while. I joined 4 years ago monday. I am going to try and make some more flash. I just finished my junior year and I did a lot of APs and Honors classes so I didn't have the kind of free time I had years ago. Anyhow, I look forward to getting to know any new users and catching up with everyone else.

Flash & Flash Accessories / EXPLOSIONS

Quote from: GoldRecordClock;1723094planes, blimps, zeppelins, jets, helicopters. i like this game. but when i played i noticed it wasn't keeping my kill count. that is what the "hit" thing in the corner is for right? i like the sounds too. very cool game. maybe each 5 levels you could advance a little farther into the future, get a better turret or something like that. nice work!

You are welcome to use a zeppelin that I made in lieu of a flying squirrel as a villain/target. PM me for the FLA.
