What you need to get is a pair of turtle beach http://www.turtlebeach.com/ .
They run around $60 (dunno how they fair in europe) but they are usb powered, come with an adapter for the 360 and sound excellent. I even use them for music production and things like that. Great bass, clean sounding mic and a solid price.

General Discussion / my graduation film

I loved it, you really did a good job of putting your stylistic approach to storytelling into something more lengthy and in depth. I could tell you were very dedicated to this project and because of that you made something truly worth viewing! The festivals are going to love this for sure, good luck!

The small swirls you used give strawberry a great matte looking finish, very cool. I do agree with Golden though, he looks a 'big long' and could use a bit of truncating to avoid that tonguey look.

General Discussion / Need Audacity Help ASAP

Quote from: i put a spell on u;1747707have you tried singing and playing at the same time?

The song is in an odd time signature and i'm just not very good at singing and playing anything complex so it was impossible.

I found another distro of audacity and that worked though for some reason so i'm all set you guys can lock this thanks :)

General Discussion / Need Audacity Help ASAP
April 29, 2010, 03:46:08 PM
I'm trying to record something on audacty, a vocal part and a guitar part, and as of recently, audacity has been doing some peculiar things that completely prevent me from doing so.

Ever since i selected the "Software playthrough (play current track while recording) button to use my synthesizer without an amp and still hear the sound, I can no longer unselect this feature without the playback of audacity dropping to about .1 speed.

Its impossible to record myself singing over the guitar part when my own (delayed) voice keeps overpowering everything else and making a big confusing mess.

Does anyone know why audacity is doing this? Its one of my favorite programs and even different versions and installations of it all keep having the same effect =(.

Quote from: PatriotClock;1725072watch Pulp Fiction im gonna watch it tonight too

or Unforgiven. Unforgiven rules.

both these movies are awesome. i'm looking for one in the same area ish, the movie i want to watch will probably be rated R just because they tend to have more compelling (to me) stories. I watched a few recently like Good Will Hunting and The Departed and i just want another to exist and amaze me.

because I want to see something awesome that I haven't seen yet. Feel free to post obvious ones, sometimes I overlook really good films and don't actually see them till years later (example: Crash). Preferably not a love story or a family movie, I just watched Moon(2009) and now i have a craving to watch great movies.

Hook me up folks!

also whoever wants to be that guy and post something bad/unfunny/porn etc will get a big fat :idgi: !

General Discussion / Best web-design company ever
January 29, 2010, 02:43:23 PM
it worked for me... Its amazing to me how some people can look at this and think that there is nothing wrong with it... I guess doing so much animation and digital work we have a very keen eye for problems. The edging around the ducks and the complete lack of color scheme or any display or knowledge of the programs they are using is a pretty sad thing though.

I would be really excited if someone responded to my message, in hand written form to boot! I once wrote to the guys at Derrick Comedy, most of you know their videos i think, and they wrote back to me with a lot of great information on skit making along with an attached PDF that they wrote about how to do it. The black kid is now on the show Community and the rest just finished filming a movie. Cool/slightly-unrelated stuff!

Gaming & Technology / Is it just me or does Sonic suck?
January 11, 2010, 04:44:49 PM
Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 were amazing and SA1 basically revolutionized 3d gaming at the time since it was a launch title for the dreamcast (September 9th, i believe). Those ones were really well done and had a lot of depth to them. The original games also include an amazing amount of secrets and different unlockables. They are a bit of a pain at times, but most people i've ever met have enjoyed the original series on Genesis immensely.
