I haven't done any major drawings since I guest stripped for Vuvu's webcomic. Can't believe that was nine months ago already. Fuck.

What the crap happened to this site? It looked much danker back then and yes I had to restore an old alt just to say this.

Since no ones giving it to you straight... VCR had to make an emergency site transfer because papa tom was gonna pull the plug on our shit. The site at least functions.

We do need to work on the site ui though, maybe

i'm the guy who runs the forum

it looks like this because i'm basically not a functional person

the platform of my dictatorial campaign was "just move .cc to a forum that isn't fucking broken"
i haven't attempted recreate the .cc layout yet because there's other projects I'm working on in my free time, and I'm really bad at getting stuff like that done. if it's something you feel strongly about, though, I can try to get back on it

if y'all want to make a casino and shit, I'd definitely put a button for it somewhere on the site, and I could see if there was a way to make it actually connected to the forum, but I can't promise results.

but don't make anything unless it's fun. like, yes, this website probably needs some help, but if it's between working on something else cool and working on a forum casino/arcade that people will eventually abandon, do what you'd rather see done, then share it with us. doing that is why I haven't put in much cosmetic work here since setting everything up.

I'd rather have some games and decide to call that a casino, instead of decide there should be a casino and feel like I have to make some games.

I wouldn't bother bro, waste of resource and development.
Its a cute idea, but since your our one man army coding master your efforts could be used for other shit.

Im not trying to shit on the idea, just my thoughts.

Clockcrew now is but a shallow husk of its former self ( I base this off my general opinion and observation, maybe you guys have been making moves and movies while ive been fucking off)

I still love it, and feel like this community had and has alot of potential and its been really great while its lasted.
From making silly movies I inadvertently learned foundations that bolstered the skills for my career.

As long as im here and theres people down, the clockcrew will never truly die to me.

on another note I've had a bit too much to drink and im feeling warm, fuzzy, and nostalgic

I always liked the wood grain on the Atari 2600, Alot of those games left it up to imagination, illustrated 30 page instruction manuals, supplementary comic books, and ectra.

EDIT: I just want to make clear that I'm not saying "toon boom is the new flash, everyone jump switch to toon boom", I'm saying there are a lot of better tools out there. Personally I prefer TV Paint, since it's raster-based instead of vector based. Even then, I rarely use it, since I'm mainly doing 3D stuff now, and a bit of Manga Studio for illustration and painting.
Fair enough, Im not trying to turn anything a shit slinging match ethire :P
Ill agree tv paint is great, and looks like toon boom is slighty better than I thought

You could do a lot of things to make your job harder, I don't know why that would be preferable to using tools and software designed to make your job more efficient and better.

Those tools don't necessarily make your job easier its all a matter of preference.
At first sight you could claim toon boom is superior tool, id even say it blows flash out of the water.

However toon boom has its flaws. are you sure that Its better then flash in every-way? the onion skin sucks, almost pathetic.  Its UI is convoluted, and doesn't have anything like action script which allows you tons of versatility, you cant create particle effects in engine.

With that logic, drop animation software all together.
Produce all your stuff in Photoshop, chop it up in premier, post produce it after effects.

My point is rather than despair over the proper software, make your shit.
thats all that matters.
